cliff for the $5M exception. cliff has 2 years left on his deal with a team option for next year. the nets want to make the playoffs and they need big men. but why get someone who you might just drop the option on in the summer for cap room? with his contract and age this is just a bandaid move to make the playoffs. i don't like it for the nets. i would rather them get a lotto pick and build for the future. i can't see why the warriors would turn this down. we at clutchfans can only hope they do so that we may dump mo on them while picking up a nice TE of our own.
