More FGAs for Howard and Lin means a guarantee win for us. Harden has a world of talent but he must buy into the team concept if we are going to win a championship.

You mean when he put up 19 and 12 in 2 and a half quarters versus Hibbert (with 5 blocks)? Yea, terrible performance!

I'm not bashing him. I like what he's done thus far. But I'd like to see him to dominate more against OKC, Indy's & other athletic front lines. That game against Indy was a complete blow out

I like to see the team go to him early and often and only if he struggle (which he does against big and strong center), fall back to more PnR instead of forcing it.

You cant expect players to dominate against every team pimpn. The Dream had his problems with S. Kemp and the Sonics back in the day. Those two teams you mentioned plays GREAT team defense. They have solid PF/C defenders starting and coming off the bench.

You mean the team he scored around 50 (IIRC) on?

What else can the man do? Did you watch the game, or just generalizing everything?

The Dream didn't score 50 points a game against the Sonics. And everybody knew the Sonics were our Achilles heels back then.

Just because the team struggled with their illegal defence does not mean Hakeem did. Many of his great games were against the Supersonics. Don't confuse team struggle with Hakeem struggling.

The trick is to quadruple team Hakeem.

me likey.. if we're not running, why the F wouldn't we go inside-out?

especially when DH is hitting his FT.

Big time player. Fits right in with the Dream & Yao.

the big improvement I’ve noticed with howard during this winning streak is he’s looking more comfortable passing out the post & reading the defense while doing that. His turnovers are still there mainly because of his offense fouls from trying to gain his post position. But it’s not the same sloppy turnovers we were seeing at the beginning of the season from guards striping him or losing control of the ball because lack of passing out the post. Basically he’s becoming more aware of the game around him in the post. This is good news for the howards-team development going forward.

They just put this team together, you cant expect this team to play like the Thunder or Pacers straight out of camp.

Exactly, it takes time to implement new players and system. Around Feb is where all good teams start to gel. The Rockets started to play well last year at the same time, then Morey messed it up by trading away the bench. Hope he doesnt do the same thing this trade deadline.

No kidding. When Harden goes off for 35 and carries the team in the 4th quarter, will we have to suffer through endless posts about how he's the "best" player on the team? We have two superstar caliber players, which is freakin' amazing when one considers where we were a couple of seasons ago, and some nights Dwight's going to unload on a team, and some nights James will. Perfection will be both unloading the same night on a team like the Thunder, the Spurs, or the Heat. We'll see that, too. As fans, we have to have at least a modicum of patience with this team, the 3rd youngest in the league. We're getting better. It's obvious. Why more people here can't simply enjoy what we have and where we're going is a continuing mystery to me.

    Things are groovy, people.

(I had to add that it's a bit weird posting in a RealGM thread)

Harden is still a more efficient scorer than both of those guys. He takes the fewest shot attempt of any top 10 scorer, and only Paul George takes less if you factor in free throws.

I really like how our guys are learning to find Dwight, they really didn't know how to get him the ball at first but they learned and it looks great once they find the right balance this team will be unstoppable.

I remember a play yesterday where jeremy was attacking off the dribble in the right wing and did a little crossover and kicked it out to DMO for a shot. In the background you could hear howard say "Gimme the ball!". Lo and behold next play jeremy feeds howard.

Another reason that he left LA. In Houston he gets to be the Big Dog, in LA Kobe's puppy. He's twice the teammate Kobe is, DH should take a back seat to no one.
