I agree with most of this, but then I look back at the Hasheem trade, and I still don't get it. It doesn't qualify for anything other than a salary dump. I'm tired of the draft pick moves...get a proven player already.
sources say we're looking for a superstar. one problem. there are only eight franchise saving superstars and most of them came to the conclusion that they need to hump each other to win a championship in this league. the two superstars I respect, Rose and Durant, well I don't think they're available.
Morey must have realized Battier wasn't going to resign, so he moved him for a pick and a salary dump that could have become a back up center at the time. That pick netted us Donatas. At least we got something out of Battier.
haha i know what rumors are.. i'm just getting tired of waiting.. i want us to make a splash that will matter.. i want Morey to pull off a trade that doesn't benefit the lakers or the magic.. i definitely don't wanna be a rental team and hope Morey isn't dumb enough to think howard will stay here long term.. and i'm sure everyone is on the same page here when i say i don't wanna see anymore sideway moves where we trade dookie for more dookie(thabeet, T-Will, Flynn)..
