Good point. I'd forgotten that Okafor had played for Brown before and that his going back to Charlotte might be considered more of a negative then. Still, I can't see the Bobcats sniffing Paul without taking on that deal (or finding a third team to do it). Like Augustin, starting Mohammed or Diop would not make me feel warm and fuzzy about my team's chances.
I'd rather not. Brooks is still developing and played like an all star much of last season. Also with Yao back, we need guys to hit the three which is what brooks is good at. Lowry will be a drop off in that category. I only want Iggy if we have to give up players like: Ariza, Jeffries, Hill, ?, Draft Pick.
the only thing about brooks is once he loses his speed hes going to just be a 3 point shooter and nothing else. i think he only has 4-5 more solid years.
only 4-5 more years??? what more do you want???? were not gonna keep him forever. igoudala only has 4-5 years too. hill brooks and ariza have anywhere from 5-8 years depending on who were talking about. igoudala is at his peak, neither of our three is. bad trade. horrible trade.

haha nice sarcasm. why can't we just be satisfied? besides the center position, we have a solid, young squad. and we're great at the center position, just not young. our SF position is good with ariza and battier. they will give you 15-25 pts/gm combined and great defense. we need that defense. we have brooks, martin, yao, scola to score. and why all this "brooks should be traded he an't play defense" crap? we have a solid defensive backup for situations IF brooks is getting owned by the opposing PG, we got lowry, battier, ariza. come on guys.
I think someday the rockets are going to have 2 choose between lowry and brooks anyway for the starting job.IF the rockets believe lowry will become a better pg than brooks they should trade brooks now that his value is high.
The fact that you would give up brooks and ariza but not Jeffries (or even list him in your fantasy lineup) is not good. I agree with wnba and say that your trade is really not that good. And we have a thread for random trades, why open up another one? At the very least, if you want to make a thread, make the trade original. Iguodala's name has been thrown around here...a LOT.
Yeah let's trade brooks immediately...wouldnt want him here during his prime years anyway.......maybe we can trade him for John Wall, he'll only be good for 10 years at most, so the Wiz will be happy to get rid of him
