    And they're crazy.

Bud/Ariza/Hill/Jeffries for Iggy and Green? Lol. Some said they also want a pick with that.

toughness, great defender, high octane guy who attacks the basket and gets to the line alot.

His jumper needs work, but he knows how to hit the shot when it counts.

His strength is driving it toward the basket, his mid range is decent, he sucks at 3's. He is equally as good a defender as Ariza is. He is also clutch.

I could possibly pull a trigger on that, but no way in hell if they want pick. Green is a pretty good player, undersized yes, but he reminds me of eric gorden and ben gorden.

I think they want us to replace Ariza with Budinger. I say hell no unless we get back Speights or Young.

They should be happy that we are taking Iguodala's contract off their hands, sheesh!

Some are, but most like the Ariza + Jeffries + Hill trade for Iguodala + Smith. I've heard some liking to add in the 2011 NY Knicks swap for Speights, also. I'd do that, too.

If we somehow get Iguodala with just losing Ariza/Hill/Jeffries, I think we probably have the 3rd best offseason behind the Bulls and Heat.

    Imagine a lineup of

    Brooks/Lowry
    Martin/Budinger
    Iguodala/Battier
    Scola/Patterson/Hayes
    Yao/Miller/Smith

Best combination of defense and offense. So many players compliment each other.

I'd love to hear about his defensive abilities.

Damn, if we get Speights, Imma wet myself!

Morey would be GOD if he pulled off that deal.

I think we would have the scariest frontline in the league!

    Brooks/Lowry
    Martin/Budinger
    Iguodala/Battier
    Scola/Speights/Patterson
    Yao/Miller/Hayes

Lakers frontline aint got ish on ours!

I agree with this. I'd go after Granger first. But, how realistically is getting Granger at this point?

Iggy wouldn't be a bad plan B here.

I wouldn't go for granger if it meant losing one of the starting pieces that's not a SF.

If they can do its and upgrade. I don't know they can do it because we have alot of prima donnas clubs these days holding up the Rockets to do other deals. Even though the Rockets always seem to off them good trades. I dont see who else is gonna give them better deals to get rid of Iguodala's huge contract. The only thing is? They have been flirting with us and other clubs for years about Iguodala and are always too shy to do anything about it. Its like they are teases and acting like they have the greatest offer in the world to trade for but not sure if they should give into temptation and do it. If they have been this close to trading him to us then whats holding them back so long and not just do it already?

There were some Iggy rumors at the trade deadline too, looks like Morey wants him..

And for Ariza/Hill/JJ.. man, that would be amazing. All my offseason sadness would go away...

But I'm not getting my hopes up, who knows, maybe the whole report is just false..

If we get Iggy, lose Jeffries, and keep the picks, then it appears to me we are all in and will try to hit Minny after this season for Rubio using the Knicks picks.

By the way, to the poster that is asking about Iggy's defense, he is an EXCELLENT defender, a better perimeter defender than Ariza.

To me, the Brad Miller signing makes this deal even more in line with what the Rockets are trying to do. It clearly makes Jordan Hill the odd man out at the 5 spot and puts the Rockets in a position to make an unbalanced trade, 3 for 2 etc.

The 76ers had their chance at Budinger at the trade deadline. Before the Rockets made the masterful Tmac/Knicks for picks/Hill , Martin for Landry deal the Rockets were reportedly looking at Iggy. And word is it was Tmac+Budinger for Iggy+(something else). The 76ers turned the Rockets down. Which was great for the Rockets considering the followup trade. 76ers probably kicking themselves for not jumping on that at the moment.

And now we have the Rockets revised trade with Ariza in the mix. Maybe this time the 76ers won't pass.

Only way we're getting Iggy is if he's looking bad and Philly sucks bad again this season, and then we might be able to pull off something at the trade deadline.

Superstars are only traded if their team is losing or they're sucking/injured, obviously. It's how we got Martin.

I wouldn't call Iggy or Martin superstars. Best player in their respective team yes, borderline allstars yes, but not superstars. :p
