Yep, totally called their set and beverly was able to get a steal off of the high screen because of it. Harden and Beverley have great chemistry on the court. Beverley plays more confidently because he knows where Harden operates and when he'll get the ball, particularly as the off guard at the three ponit line when Harden initiates the offense out of the high pick and roll, and on the fast break they were lethal.

You also see how a guy like Harden affects the defense when he's off the ball. I recall Courtney Lee and Nick Calathes basically face guarding him while he sat in the corner. Seemed that Harden is trying to go five-hole on his passes a lot here in the pre-season, and that he's trying to go to the post a bit more. Its really impressive to watch the guy because of how easy he makes the game look.

Bev is the new Derrick fisher in that he just pisses you off if he's. It on your team. I think bev can actually be better on both sides if he isn't already because of his size and strength and athletism.

Beverley, Johnson, Lee, Ariza & Howard could be the best d unit against a small lineup in maybe the NBA

If I wasn't a great scorer in the NBA, my only other option would be a tenacious defender. I can see how he plays with such intensity. He's working hard for a contract. The true measure of who he is, is how he plays after he gets a decent contract.

I don't think he will ever change. He gives everything every single game.
