IIRC, it was Mario that KM did the bear-hug on. Anyway, Jazzholes has EARNED the "most hated" status for the longtime Rockets fans.
Only reading the posts that are quoted here, it seems like they are being very un-jazzhole fan like. What I mean is, they are actually being realistic. Of course, that will all change when we get there and the ref has the NERVE to call a foul on a jazz player. Those idiots boo every single call, even if the player doesn't complain (yeah, like that happens). They're like a bunch of little kids who cry when they don't get their way. Those morons probably boo the refs for calling intentional fouls. Some of you younger fans need to check your Rocket history and understand why we hate the jazz so much. True, there hasn't been much of a reason to hate them in the last 8 years or so, but there was a time when they were the most hated team in Houston, and for good reason.
I remember John Stockton shoving his head into other players' abdomens and getting fouls called on them .
you know, Houston losing to Utah isn't out of the realm of possibility. you're guilty of exactly what you are accusing them of.
Yea, now that Malone and Stockton are out of the league, playing the Jazzholes just isn't the same. Thank the Lord that neither one of those 2 cheaters ever won a title (although Malone tried his damndest by joining the Lakers). As Batman stated, Jerry Sloan is still there and he is an integral part to the Jazzhole way of cheating. It is a mindset and one that has been cultivated by that redneck ******* Sloan. I am wanting the Rockets to bury them, sweep their asses. I will NEVER EVER forget how they cheated one of the greatest Rocket teams ever in the '97 one with Barkley, Hakeem, and Drexler out of the championship. Their actions just for that moment makes them inexcusable and unforgivable to me. For those who have only recently become Rocket fans, you need to find a videotape or DVD that shows the following playoff series: 1995 NBA Western Conference 1st Round - Rockets vs. Jazz (all games but especially the ones that the Jazz won and Game 5) 1997 NBA Western Conference Finals - Rockets vs. Jazz (all games but especially Game 6) Watching those games will help you understand where us old-timers are coming from.
It wasn't Mario. It was Clyde who got bear-hugged, just like BJ said. Rudy put Clyde on Stockton for the inbounds pass. Stockton went around a Malone pick to receive the inbounds and Clyde had him tailed. No way Stockton was going to get off a 3pt shot with Clyde on his tail, so Malone grabbed him and hug on for dear life.
Wow, from that one little thread where there was that link, it looks like j*zz fan is already in melt down mode. It is pretty clear that we are a better, more experienced team, I'd be surprised if it went more than 5 or 6. Crush the j*zz!!!!
you guys are haters.. the Jazz aren't as bad as they were back then.. i hate okur, but that's about it. I won't talk **** though. I'll save that for after the series. They're respecting our club in those comments, and all you guys can do is act like little children.
