    Yao met my expectation numbers wise but he exceeded my expectation impact wise.

    I don't know what to expect from Yao at the begining of the season. So it is really hard for me to vote on those options.
    But I am really impressed by his fundamental basketball
    knowledge as well as his interview skills.
    A greatness is in the making, lets all enjoy the ride.

    Yao Ming's performance so far is very similar to Shawn Bradley's and Rik Smit's performances in their rookie years. Before he played a single NBA game, I felt strongly that Yao Ming would achieve and perform at the Shawn Bradley/Rik Smits level both in his rookie year and in his career overall. This appears to be the case so far.



    Therefore, based on his achievements thus far and my initial expectations I had of him prior to the season, I voted that Yao Ming has met my expectations exactly.
