So Purpura gets zero credit and is bad just because he's new? He made decisions to to deal Willy, keep Burke, deal for Jennings, etc.. so I guess now you'll be forced to give him credit.

Seriously, I'd hate to work for you. You'd hire me and then evaluate me the next day. And then when you gave me my 1 year and 2 year evaluation, you'd take any success the organization has had and attribute it to my predecessor. You do realize that there are day-to-day decisions that are made and there are decisions that are NOT made that give a GM his job, right? And it's not just the trades that make him great vs. horrendous?

Thanks for telling us that everyone outside Astro homers agrees with you because you're the genius..

I think it has more to do with some people seeing potential in guys and you thinking "if they reach that potential, we'd be super lucky". i.e. optimism vs. pessimism. You'd probably call yourself a realist, but even a realist would give more of a chance than you seem to.

Such as what Cat pointed out about Ensberg and W. Williams. And the fact that you seem to really doubt the fact that Scott can keep it up for a full season.

And I don't even want to get started on you and your love for "team speed"..

If UH ever wins a championship in one of the big three sports (football, basketball, baseball), I will burn some couches and flip cars on Cullen

    1. Lamar Basketball National Championship
    2. Lamar Baseball College World Series Championship
    3. Astros World Series
    4. Rockets NBA Championship
    5. Texans Super Bowl
    6. Any National Championship by Oklahoma State in Football, Basketball, or Baseball

(If Lamar ever brings back their football team, it goes to position #3.)

There is no better way to show allegiance to your team than firing a semi automatic pistol in the cool air of a midsummer's night after the Rockets have won a first round playoff game over the Wizards.

I would be extremely happy and would hope some wild sex was available at that moment.

When the rockets win their next championship the entire neighbourhood wil be awake. I will be screaming that hard.

One time when i couldn't watch as many rockets games as i can now, a friend of mine(lakers fan), came over to my place to watch the game (rockets-lakers).The game started at 2 AM it was the double overtime game(where Barkley forced the OT with a baseline jumper). Everybody in a mile radius must have been awake by then since we were screaming so hard during that game. :D
