Femanists want equal rights(which they obviously should). They want to to join the infantry yet if Ray Rice knocked a dude out how much media coverage would there be on this incident? I've been sucker punched before and I didn't even spit on my attacker to provoke him. Where is my media coverage?

Lol....talk about stretching things to make a point. Where did I say people at bars have no morals and can't give legit answers because of a drink?

Let me clarify: Just because people at a bar agree with a random guy who approaches them and frames the question in such a way that they are led to answer the way he wants, does not necessarily validate whatever it was you were arguing with the other poster about.

Fair enough, but I don't think "idiot" falls under that category. That was the word that got you all hot and bothered to begin with.

I think we should just agree to disagree. You value a dog's (or 30 of them) safety and wellbeing over a human's. I go the other way on it. I don't think either of us will change the other's mind.

Maybe this is splitting hairs, but I think the term "inhumane" fits better than "psychotic". Manson, Dahmer, and Gacy were psychotic - I don't think Vick was (or is) on their level..

I am showing my support of getting rid of Goodell...cant you see?

The Texans have nothing to do with Goodell being in over his head as a commissioner.

Just so you understand this issue here, once again...this has nothing to do with Ray Rice and the legal system. It has everything to do with the leader of a business lying and not doing his job as the boss. He has mishandled this situation about as badly as it can be mishandled. He doesnt deserve to have the leadership position he currently owns if he cant do his job.

But let me guess, you're going to come back with..."but, but, but the legal system didnt even punish Ray"...as if that is even remotely relevant to the topic being discussed.

No, he is dead on point here. It was the legal system that failed here first. That judge & DA both saw this video and chose to look the other way and give Rice special treatment neither you nor I would receive because we don't carry a football for a living. Same thing with Josh Brent - get drunk, get behind the wheel, kill someone, get 6 months in jail. Oh and remember Ethan Couch? The "affluenza" teen got drunk, got behind the wheel, killed FOUR people and got 10 years probation. Had the legal system supposedly worked, Rice would have been treated like we would have been treated (read ass thrown in jail) and the NFL wouldn't have had to look the other way in order to protect the goose that lays the golden eggs. Because in the end, that's all that Goodell and the Ravens were concerned about from the start - protecting those three letters.

That's what I've been trying to figure out he came out and said just what he did. The media has shown there bias ways once again he made a horrible mistake and it's cost he everything.

    Duly noted

Also IIRC, you've done some name calling on this board. Anything you'd type online, yet would hesitate to say face to face is automatic "internet tough guy" ;)

I disagree "a dog is just a dog", so any situation involving dogs vs humans, humans win automatically.

As for Vick, just substitute his actual actions for what he allowed.. it's the same thing to me. Do you give Carruth a pass because he didn't actually pull the trigger on his pregnant girlfriend? Does a mob boss get vendication because he wasn't there when a hit went down? Of course not. People catch dope cases without being in possession of the drugs.

The thought is that he lied saying he didn't hit her, rather she attacked him and he pushed her and she hit her head, and his fiancee backed up his lie. Once the video came out showing they were lying to everyone, it was over.

Of course that's if you buy what they are selling.

First of all, there's nothing I type on here that I wouldn't say "face to face" because there would be no reason not to. Secondly, pretending that someone wouldn't say something to your face because allegedly you are such a tough guy is the "internet tough guy" routine.

It's a message board, there will be people you agree with and people you don't, there's no reason to get all worked up about it.

We don't know what they said behind closed doors when talking to the NFL. I'd bet they downplayed it significantly.

All I see you doing is burning up your keyboard... If you watch another NFL game and or keep supporting the NFL _ you're a hypocrite... Point Blank....!!!!

So stop watching and start a petition to get Goodell and all NFL players who are domestic violence offenders kicked out the league. Get the drug users kicked out too since that's a bad influence for the children. Also players who drive under the influence as well.

I don't believe for one minute that the NFL didn't know exactly what happened.

They have a multi-million dollar security team run by a former police commissioner that can find out anything about a player they want. You believe that they did a thorough investigation with a police commissioner involved and the thought never occurred to them to look at a tape inside a casino elevator? No freaking way.

Don't go there, bro. Some double standards will always exists. Some are justified.

Funny because I read 100x more internet insults (whether aimed at me or others) than I hear in real life. In fact, I can't recall the last time I've heard a live insult.. and I debate sports (among other) things regularly. But yeah, you're the exception who talks the same no matter the place. #toughguy

True but that still doesn't change the fact that he's now lost his job because of a video being released .Which the NFL and the Ravens should have seen before handing down the first ruling of the two games my ? again what changed.

Oh it's absolutely suspicious, I was saying what I think their story will be, if they wanted to find out the truth, I think they would have.

Maybe no one you talk to in person respects you enough to correct you when you say stupid things. I have a couple really dumb friends and when they are going off about something they know nothing about, embarrassing themselves, I generally let them go with it because there is no point. If someone I respect is saying something really stupid, I'll engage them because it's out of character and there is a point in doing so because they are worth talking to.

Or maybe you're just such a super tough guy that everyone is afraid of you....whatever helps you sleep at night.

I think that is the point he is making. They downplayed it when they were interviewed, then the vid was released, which told a very different story.

Well the way I see it, Ray Rice is a 1%er and he makes his living at least partly off of public image. As such, he should be held to a much higher standard than the common man who lives a private life. I wonder how many people would be suggesting him being fired was unjustified if he was a CEO of a multi-billion dollar company rather than just an athlete.
