What can he say? There are two possibility. Either Ray Rice lied about punching her, or the Ravens only dumped him when the public pressure mounted from the video.
Calling him an idiot for saying that killing dogs is worse than abusing a person? Disagreeing is one thing, but to call someone an idiot for a reasonable judgment? Tsk, tsk.
DecdTE=Bandwagoner;9218657]The law is pretty clear on domestic abuse. PETA kills thousands of dogs a year legally.[/QUOTE] If it's legal, there's probably good reason. Doctors kill thousands of patients yearly with their family's consent. If someone knocked out a close female of mine ONCE, I'd say they had an anger management problem. If someone killed 30 animals I'd say they were psychotic. Money played a role, but killing animals is illegal. Ray made a horrible split second decision. Vick repeatedly killed and abused animals for years and years. Huge difference.
Think the ravens did the right thing today. Distance themselves from the distraction. Ok with that. That is their right. Think the NFL did the wrong thing today. They based their decision on legal. The video does not change much. If Legal was willing to play this soft they likely had legal cause to do so. Think the idea that the NFL has more power than CNN or TMZ, or anyone else to get the video, ludicrous. They don't. They are in-fact likely much smaller with less connections than the media itself. Think legal will not change. They had all the evidence. They struck a deal. They are the most knowledgeable about the whole matter. They see the best possible outcome here. And moved on it.
Funny the video surfaces days before the casino is suppose to shut down. The video inside the elevator is choppy and only becomes smooth after the elevator doors open. I wonder if we will ever see any smooth raw footage. ******************************************************* Ray Rice won't ever have to revisit the scene of his infamous domestic violence incident ... that's because the Revel Casino Hotel in Atlantic City, NJ is closing down. The casino will close by September 10, making it the fourth casino in AC to shut down this year. Revel only opened in April 2012, at a cost of $2.4 billion. Ultimately, the casino's legacy might end up being the place where Rice was caught on surveillance cameras dragging his seemingly unconscious fiancée out of an elevator ... before they were both arrested for domestic violence. Rice struck a deal and served no jail time for the incident. He was suspended by the NFL for two games. If you're thinking there's a connection between Rice's arrest and the hotel's downfall -- a Revel rep tells us they've seen no evidence of that. Fact is, all AC casinos are just hurting. http://www.tmz.com/2014/08/13/ray-rice-elevator-arrest-revel-casino-closing-bankruptcy/

Goodell needs to step down if/when TMZ can show the NFL either saw the video or had the opportunity to see the video, but chose not to. There is really no other viable option.
No surprise that some people who play a violent sport may turn out to be violent... And obviously Ray's chick must be cool with it because she married him. Everyone is upset over this 5h1t but her. Lolzzzzzzzz....!!!! She probably likes that type of stuff. Too bad for Ray Rice that the NFL has to be the moral compass for our society. A bunch of neanderthals are held to a higher standard and must show the ordinary people how to act... Lolzzzzzzzzz....!!!! And too bad that the Native Americans who find the name Redskins derogatory don't matter in our society. A NFL player kills someone while driving under the influence and that's cool... Ray Rice knocks his chick out _ and his career is over.
Why should Goodell step down when the legal system let Ray Rice off with a tap on the wrist...??? You guys are ready to form a lynch mob to go after Goodell but you're willing to let the judge and the legal system skate. Lmao...!!!!
The problem I have is that it was known he knocked her out, but now that it is on film because of public outrage that would come from it determines Rices fate. WTF changed? Did they think she tripped?
