Saying she is choosing to stay with him is not blaming her. There is a difference between having a choice, and not having a choice.
I like how the NFL states the following tweet:

Ray Rice suspended indefinitely following release by Ravens http://t.co/VaE2ZW1Pku
— Around The NFL (@AroundTheNFL) September 8, 2014
If TMZ was able to obtain this video...how the heck cant a multibillion dollar industry not get the same darn thing. SO after we all see the brutal video, now the Ravens release him? And then the NFL decides to "suspend him indefinitely.." Talk about PRmoves:101. Regardless...the precedent has been set...you beat women, and you can essentially kiss your career goodbye.
If it comes out that Goodell knew about this second video, and either A) watched it and lied about watching it or B) "chose" not to watch it, then he needs to be fired immediately. I also think the Ravens organization needs to come clean about how much they knew about this considering how brazenly talked about Ray Rice's previous clean record, and how they knew about his character. That entire press conference was a complete farce if it turns out they saw this footage beforehand.
That is what they do that's their specialty that's like asking why can't mtv play beatles and zepplin
You're expecting an organization that never did anything to Ray Lewis to all of a sudden be transparent and contrite now?
If only this was the case regardless of where you worked. Its really unnecessary. No reason for it to happen, ever.
The NFL and the Ravens are such a lying sack. The knockout was 2/15. Suspension announced 7/25. In between that time, the NFL didn't do their due diligence with all their security connections? With of without the video, the police report and court case inferred Ray Rice knocked the woman out. NFL has no credibility here. I want to hear what Harbaugh has to say. He previously said how proud he was of Ray Ray.
Opie and Anthony (RIP) were talking about this video like 2 months ago, not the one where he pulled her out of the elevator, the video of him with the uppercut.

I agree with you that TMZ's folks are specialists at what they do...However what I want to know is if the NFL/Ravens had access to this video before. IF they had this and failed to act in February having this exact footage, you essentially have the answer of why they cut/suspended him indefinitely now...nightmare PR $hitstorm unearthed by TMZ...The attention/viewership/involvement of women in the NFL = money...and anything that affects that bottom line will be cut.
Yea, one person beat up a woman and only got 2 games suspension only until more damning evidence came out while the other one had his hands in a murder and has a statue of himself in front of a stadium Ray Lewis should have NOTHING to comment about in regards to what is happening or what happened to Ray Rice.
And what leads you to believe that an abused woman has such a thing as "choice"? This is perhaps the greatest misconception of all. Time after time abused women have come forward and explained that the reason they did not leave their abusers was because of threats by the abuser to themselves or to their children. There are women who have lost their lives for daring to leave their abusers. In such a situation, having a "choice" is irrelevant.
Greg Hardy is a lucky man. The details of his assault on that chick seems like it worse than what we saw in the Ray Rice video
TMZ is no angels or saints either like the NFL they held this back . . until it benefited them Rocket River
interesting take, she may have stood by him and diffused the situation only to divorce him later and get paid. now with his contract being terminated and likely never getting another pay day her plan is screwed. so she got beat down by ray and now she her master plan gets blown up. she got screwed twice!!!
