Ha if you say so, I eat meat and everything, just from Grass fed organic ones and never have once had stomach problems. If anything since I've gone down this route, I've felt better, energy, even physically my workouts are more effective and I see more cuts, clearer skin. Overtime the benefits in the enzymes, nutrieents from a diet without processed food will do wonders. I am not doing it out of love for animals(although that is a side plus) it was for my health after seeing the crap they put into our food and our bodies. Their are still nomadic tribes out in new zealond that don't have any processed food, no teens or anyone has acne for one example. The facts are rising, these companies have so much invested money and the public for one reason or another evenw ithout trying it buys all of this diarrhea crap. Its like decades ago when people were convinced smoking was good for you. Hey, I am not pushing to do it, I just know that in my own case and literally everyone I know who has given it a try(an actual effort for a committed time) felt, saw the difference and couldn't go back. The only people who aren't usually haven't tried it or just wanted to try it for a week expecting a miracle. It is a lifestyle change and eventually results and just the internal impact will happen, but its not some medicine. Its a conscious way and it makes sense not to put crap into your body, chemicals os on as if you would eat the same ingredients you use to clean your toilet
Google MAP bacteria. That should stop you from drinking raw milk. In fact, it might stop you from drinking pasteurized milk too. Coconut milk is the good stuff.
I don't anymore. These are some of the things that shock me, normal milk, dairy, bread its all 'supposed' and marketed as generally if not healthy, but food that is not bad for you. The more you learn, the more surprised I am about how the human body processes it, the effects of the toxins and the extras they add on, from cerials, all of it just so misleading and no wonder americas health is generally bad. Even the things we think are good or if we are trying to eat healthy we can be misled. Its a bit disappointing, but yea no I don't eat bread anymore.
This is probably why you can't drink the "fatty" milk. I used to drink whole milk when I was young - hell, everybody did. Then I switched to 2% and then skim milk. If I drank whole milk now, I'd probably want to barf. I've tried soy milk and it was alright. I really don't drink much milk anymore, but I've been meaning to try almond milk since I've never had it before.
Bread, especially whole-grain and free of high fructose corn syrup, is pretty innocent compared to many other processed foods. I don't think we should give us processed foods entirely, because that would not be smart. We process food in our homes technically, too. Grinding a sirloin for burger patties is processing. I think maybe you meant chemically processed. A processing that makes the food unnatural in a way that harms health by reducing the nutritional value of the food.
Notice it doesn't say "milk" anywhere on the box ...cause it isn't milk. The FDA required them to stop marketing it as milk ...since it isn't. The ONLY comparison you can make is it's sorta white and is a liquid.
I am a strong believe that you have to give your body a defeatable challenge sometimes. Drinking pasteurized milk forever will make you less able to deal with unpasteurized milk (or so I've heard). That's why people could have it in the past with less risks, while we will probably wilt the moment our body detects the risks.
Eating less processed food is an excellent habit, don't be discouraged because you don't completely comply with the highest standard.
I'm really not that worried about safety. I have a higher chance of getting sick from eating raw vegetables and that doesn't stop me from eating them. Also, the health department checks the milk for bacteria every day which is a higher standard than pasteurized milk.
Yuk. I've been drinking soy and almond milk exclusively for about 10 years, and would never go back to cow milk.
drinking milk is one of those things, like eating red meat, recreational drug use, and rape, that should be done in moderation.
