First Terrell Suggs blows out his Achilles and comes back months ahead of schedule. Now Ray Lewis is reportedly attempting to come back from a torn triceps injury 2 months later, that also happens to have a recovery time of 6 to 9 months. This is incredible.
Training staffs always get the blame or take the fall when it comes to injuries. I really don't see how they should take more than 20-30% of the blame or credit. Especially when its Dr. Andrews doing 95% of the surgeries on all athletes.
Seems like ever since Willis McGahee came back earlier than expected from the gruesome knee injury against Ohio State, horrific injuries haven't been as damaging to careers. The real miracle this season, IMO, is Adrian Peterson and he plays for the Vikings.
I'm guessing those guys have been undergoing Platelet-Rich Plasma Therapy like crazy since going down.
