    It would be a smart move for the Ravens to pick up whomever we cut. Cheap backups that would require minimal maintenance and training.

    Poor thread title and not really news IMO. All it is saying is that the Ravens "might" be waiting to see which QB the Texans release (Yates or Keenum) assuming they draft one. Not much of a stretch since they know Kubiak's system.

    If Schaub only got us a 6th rounder what makes Keenum's worth be a 5th rounder?

    No. And Texans should keep Yates to compete for a backup spot with Kirkpatrick, assuming they go QB at 1.1 pick

    I think that's a solid bet, Keenum surpassed him on the depth chart last year, by now he'll be WAY ahead of him.

    Keenum showed he can have good games and make a lot of the throws.

    Just needs to learn to read the defense at a Pro level.

    If O'Brien drafts two quarterbacks like he said he may do, I can see both Case and Yates being cut.
