Clash of the Titans - 3/10. Couldn't end soon enough.

Gamer - 5/10. I probably gave it a little higher rating than normal just because I saw it right after CotT. Plus, it was better than I was expecting. However, I don't know if I would recommend seeing it.

Best movie Clooney has been in since Oceans 11 (original). It could have been as high as 8/10 if it wouldn't have gone in thedirection it took in the 2nd half. The whole family thing, wedding, etc, was rather boring.

 

Clash of the Titans 4/10

 

Well, someone gave it to me as a gift, so I decided to watch it. I usually hate Clooney, but he was ok in this. I actually liked it more than Hurt Locker

 

I felt the same way, it was a brilliantly done movie.


Really hit all the right chords.

 

Anybody seen The Wackness ? Read a couple of reviews on line and sounded like something worth checking out. Gonna watch it tonight.

Solid movie about Britain's most violent inmate ever. Very similar to Stanley Kubrick's adaptation.



Law Abiding Citizen (2009)

7.0/10

One father's attempt to derail a failed justice system. Stop watching the last 15 min for the ending which made me knock this from an 8/10 rating. It is a terrible/'safe' Hollywood-ending that clashes with the message and characterizations of the movie.



Hachiko: A Dog's Story (2009)

8.5/10

True story and a legend in Japan. This is very sad movie about a college professor's amazing relationship with a dog named Hachiko, who waits for the man everyday at train station until one day he doesn't show up yet the dog continues to do so for nearly 10 years.

Clash of the titans was terribly disappointing. Disaster. I can appreciate simple storylines, but this was just too much. Whole movie was a straightforward beeline towards the end you knew was coming right from the start without even a token attempt at a plot twist. At least percy jackson was fun, and easily the better of the 2 "titans" movies.

Tempted to catch kick-ass in the cinemas a second time before its run ends where I live. Hit Girl was a little bundle of cute, cool and kickass! combined.

 

Have you seen 10 promises to my dog? How does hachiko compare to that? I was forced by my friend to watch 10 promises... and have to admit that my eyes got watery.

 

Nine - sucked donkey huevos except for Penelope Cruz & Marion Cotillard.

 

That was actually a pretty good movie. I was surprised.

 

That's a damn near perfect film.

 

Taxi Driver. 8/10. Only thing that bothered me was jodie foster as a 12 yr old prostitute. She was 13 but there was a scene she was wearing white pants with no panties on. I found that whole thing a little disturbing. Other than that, pretty good.

 

He's Just Not That Into You

That was absolute garbage and I'm considerably more tolerant of romantic comedies than most guys. ****ty characters, bad premise,plot and dialogue. And sadly Jennifer Aniston isn't that hot anymore.

 

I had to sit through that garbage too, utterly horrible.

I give that movie a 5 for the office sex scene with scarlett johansson alone. Bradley cooper was all up in that
