Food, Inc. - 7/10 Horribly depressing and enlightening. Yes, the viewpoints were pretty biased, but sometimes it's okay to be biased. I think I'm gonna watch that King Corn docu soon.
Drag Me to Hell - 6/10. I found it mildly entertaining. Avatar - 9/10. The movie is simply amazing imo.
An American Werewolf in London 6.5/10 - I decided to watch this after seeing "The Wolfman"(4/10) because it was supposed to be the greatest werewolf movie. The makeup effects were good but the transformation was still dated, also about the only good looking part of the wolf getup was the head. Overrated as a Horror/Comedy as almost none of the jokes made me laugh.
Paranormal Activity Pretty frightening. They nailed the atmosphere perfectly inside the house. It was like watching an episode of Ghost Adventures or Ghost Hunters only ten times worse. I think the couples reactions were pretty well on par with reality. And both endings I saw were pretty good, but would have been better had they molded the two together, similar to how I felt with I Am Legend. And the guy is an idiot. 7/10
Land of The Lost. D-. This movie was just stupid. I'm starting to think that Will Ferrell's career is going the way of Eddie Murphy.
I saw My Name is Khan last night. 8/10 That movie was really good, and brought out a great point. Recommended.
What's Eating Gilbert Grape? 8.5/10 Wow...very emotional movie. Halfway through I wasn't sure where the movie was going but I loved how it wrapped up. Dicaprio was amazing at such an young age. Depp seemed a bit flat with his character though.
Personal Effects (8/10) Ashton Kutcher's acting really surprised me in this movie. Great script and great acting all around. Michelle Pfeiffer is still very attractive.
Hachiko: A Dog's Story - 7/10 It felt a bit like a Hallmark movie at times, but I still cried like a b-tch (girls are allowed to do that). After watching the movie/reading the story, how can anyone deny that dog is man's best friend?? Not sure how it compares to the original, but plan on watching it eventually.
The Bank Job: 8/10 - Kept me interested throughout Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief 7.5/10 - Not enough character development; movie should've been 20 mins longer IMO. The Brotherhood of the Wolf: 7.5/10 - French flick, good movie, but had some dull parts 3 Idiots: 8/10 - Hindi flick, good movie, some cheesy parts, but overall pretty decent.
Finally saw the reboot of Hulk last night: 7/10. I liked it a lot more than Ang Lee's ****fest, but this one seemed frantic, like they cut out too much development - it was just one chase after another.
