10/10? Really? I mean you thought it was an absolutely flawless film with absolutely no contemporary among its peers? I mean I saw it and I thought it was really well done and a pretty good movie to boot, but certainly I wouldn't say it was the greatest movie ever made.
saw invention of lying last night 6.5/10 i think it could have been better the premise was amusing and at times there were some funny parts but things sort just fell apart as the movie progressed.
Saw that last weekend, considering the assembled talent I expected it to be a lot better but the execution just wasn't there, a shame.
I've seen most of the Best Picture nominees and so far I don't think any of them have been nearly as good as "Up in the Air"
I watched Moon last night and it was superb. I also noticed Clint Mansell laid the soundtrack. Awesome. 8/10.
Before the Devil Knows You're Dead -- 8/10 This was a great movie. The way it was directed reminded me of Tarantino's style but without the obligatory chapter titles. Much better transition between scenes. I thought the ending was a bit over the top though. I think this movie doesn't get much run, undeservedly.
Smokin' Aces - 2/10 - Don't waste your time. Garbage. There isn't one interesting character in the movie.
I just saw it a few of weeks ago. I laughed out loud a couple times, but my expectations were too high. I'd go maybe 6 or 7 out /10.
Ok, slightly off-topic, but gotta rate a TV show- Psych- just started watching this- very funny stuff, especially all the intros with the kid and his dad. 9.5/10
Been watching it for a while. Very Good Solid show to me. Watch - The ToothFairy and all I can say is. . . . Dwayne Johnson needs to go back to being THE ROCK these Family movies are killing his career. . . You can't be the TOUGH GUY/BADASS in the comedy situations when you not in any BADASS MOVIES! 3/10 and I am being OVERLY Generous <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/JqnjK79fGSw&color1=0xb1b1b1&color2=0xcfcfcf&hl=en_US&feature=player_embedded&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/JqnjK79fGSw&color1=0xb1b1b1&color2=0xcfcfcf&hl=en_US&feature=player_embedded&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" width="425" height="344"></embed></object> Rocket River the things we watch . . .. just chant to yourself. . its for the kids. . . its for the kids!
They aren't killing his career, he is laughing all the way to the bank. Kind of seems like the new Eddie Murphy. and... I really enjoyed Tooth Fairy, for a kids movie I thought it was well written and Dwayne Johnson did a really good job convincing me that he is a 'good guy'. I also watched Escape To Witch Mountain, and although it wasn't as good as I hoped, I still really liked it. watched 2012 last night- meh. that really is not a very good film.
Mickey Rourke in "The Wrestler" 8/10 But...it kinda just drops the two stories it was going with.. Him and his daughter and the stripper....just left us hanging. But...pretty good movie.
Moon starring Sam Rockwell & Kevin Spacey... -Website: http://www.sonypictures.com/classics/moon/ -9/10. A really well executed contemporary science fiction film. It's claustrophobic and wicked, but heartfelt and cathartic. It gets my highest recommendation, just about.
