Saw these last weekend The Unborn - Poster A+ Movie D- <a target='_blank' title='ImageShack - Image And Video Hosting' href='http://img42.imageshack.us/i/30065742.jpg/'><img src='http://img42.imageshack.us/img42/5553/30065742.jpg' border='0'/></a> Julie and Julia B+ The kind of chick flick that doesn't make you want to stab yourself.
Lord of the Rings (all 3) - a+ Enemy at the Gates - A- Gladiator - 100% Best movie ever created in my opinion I also started watching Che - D- I got really bored, but it may have just been that I wasn't in the mood for that particular kind of movie, I heard great things about it, but was personally did not care for it, way too slow.
Street Kings I was like meh when I found out it had Keanue Reeves in it then I watched it and was pleasantly surprised that it was actually really good. 8/10
Watched "Horsemen" (Dennis Quaid) last night. Interesting plot line, okay acting, suspenseful. 7/10. Also, "Requiem For A Dream". Always good, but disturbing. 8/10
Forgetting Sarah Marshall Was pretty funny. Maybe slightly long for a comedy at just under 2 hrs, but never felt it really dragged. All the characters were likable and Mila Kunis more than made up for the multiple full frontal shots. 6/10
just saw UP today with Mrs Smeg and Smeg Jnr in gold class seats, absolutely loved it, great mix of stuff for adults and kids, animation was outstanding and loved the plot, the character names are awesome particularly Kevan and Doug
I watched this with an old girlfriend who Netflix'd it. We probably finished it around 2-3am and immediately put it in the envelope to return it and took it out to the mailbox. We said, "Wow what a great film. Now let's get it as far away from us as we possibly can." I just watched Dragonball Evolution. (I DL'd a screener from Demonoid.) Overall, it was more than pretty bad which is pretty much what I expected. As a DBZ fan, it was entertaining in a few places, I suppose. If you were to see it with no idea about the original cartoon, you'd be saying "Wait....what?" over and over again. 3.5/10
The Goods: Live Hard, Sell Hard - 3/10 Way too formulaic, jokes are from 2002 Public Enemies - 5/10 I found it hard to care about the characters or the story. You'd think this movie would be epic with Depp, Bale and Michael Mann as the director. I'll just stick to Heat... so far my favorite movies this summer are District 9 and Inglourious Basterds...
I'll do, in no particular order, the last movies i've seen: Dragonball Evolution - 2.5/10 Up - 8.5/10 I Love You Man - 8/10 District9 (saw it today) - 8.8/10
Saw K-pax over the weekend for the first time. It's a great film. 8/10 stars I'd like to believe that he indeed was not from this world. Also watched a docu on the History channel, don't know if it counts for this thread, but it was excellent. Killing pablo.
i watched POINT BREAK off of netflix in memory or swayze. jeez, its hard to believe that as bad as keanu reeves is as an actor, that he's actually gotten better from his early years lol. yes he was just that awful. 7/10
