Shooting Dogs: 8.5/10 The horror of the Rwandan Genocide is on full display. And it was one damn powerful movie. Hasn't left my mind since last night. Makes Hotel Rwanda look very toned down and G rated. One priest, 2500 refugees, and 20 UN troops who are not allowed to intervene are encircled by bloodthirsty Hutus..
Deception (2008) 'Watched it on HBO two nights ago. It's a pretty lame mystery thriller. But it is about a sex club. And the blonde girl in it is 10/10 hot. 6 out of 10.

Whatever Works - 8.0/10Just saw it at River Oaks Theater. Woody Allen and Larry David. I really enjoyed it. The second half was slower than the first but a nice movie, I was pleasantly, surprised.
Just saw Away We Go I'd give it a 8/10. It felt a little too indie at times for its own good. Other than that it was a pretty good movie. Nothing that blew me away, but the whole part with Maggie Gyllenhaal was hilarious.
The Uninvited - 7/10 Knowing - 7/10 (cheesy special effects) this did get me to watch Ancient Aliens documentary which my fiance kept bugging me to watch...this is for another thread but dang, that documentary sure made me to wonder. Traitor - 9/10 really liked this movie...makes me to think if there are moles in our goverment! Body of lies - 8/10 I always like all Leo Dicaprio's movies! Does Band of Brothers even count for a movie? I finished all of them last week...wow what a touching & amazing miniseries. Sad too. 10/10
Transformers 2: 5/10 - Nice action, boring movie. Moon: 9/10 - Good low-budget flick. Interesting twists. Only playing at the Angelika, AFAIK.
hate to admit it but I saw miss march 2.5/10 and 2.0 of that 2.5 was because Craig Robinson's character was hillarious the rest of the movie was terrible. the two prettiest girls, including the supposed playboy centerfold dont even get nekked in the movie. that would be serious false advertising (there was boobies dont get me wrong) i have the remake of Race to Witch Mountain to watch tonight
Agreed. Brick - Stars Joseph Gordon Levitt. Nice film. Kind of hard to stay with, but the overall plot was pretty solid. Enjoyed that twist in the end. 7/10 Burn After Reading - Man, this movie was awesome. 8/10
just watched that the other day on HBO, I could not even watch the whole thing. I found it incredibly boring and annoying
Bruno: Seriously disappointed me. Would have been a lot better without uh... certain scenes. I'll give it a 5.5/10. Makes me want to watch Borat...
