Transformer 2: Didnt enjoy it too much but thats because I lost my fun watching chilhood movies . Good special effects though.

Id give it a 7.5 out of 10.

Good surprises and cool effects , just too long and corny in some parts.

Transformers 2. Very good action and CG scenes. And that's about it, oh along with Megan Fox of course. :D

7/10 Pretty much an average popcorn flick.

Pretty much. Now if all you're interested in is CG action (which is very well done, by the way) and Megan Fox doing modeling shots for no reason at all, then you'll love the movie.

    Ice Age 3 - 7/10

My kid liked-but-not-loved it. Better than Ice Age 2.

I've been trying to watch Burn After Reading, but I cannot even sit all the way through it. It is sooooo incredibly boring and dumb.

    Y.P.F.

I'd give it 4 out of 5 stars for what it was trying to do. Watched it on cable recently. Either HBO, Cinemax, or Showtime. Just in case anyone is wondering, Y.P.F. stands for Young People ****ing. I can't attempt to explain it here, but well worth the 90 minutes. Definitely "MA."

Mall Cop - 5/10 and only because Kevin James was in it and because it had a twist at the end...just bad

that was really disappointing. Why the **** were all the bank robbers on skateboards and bmxing? And some were like super jumpers. Just so dumb.

just rewatched Tropic Thunder. . . infinately better than Year One

While I am always adverse to 'blackface' and very leary of it.
I must admit . . . RDJ pulled it off . . . Spoofing the ridiculousness of it
while still being funny . . . making fun of or mocking or being offensive
    [or overly so]

[Not looking for this to become any trend]

    8/10

Revolutionary Road: 5/10? I guess? The movie wasn't bad by any stretch. The acting was all on point, but...why? I just couldn't figure out why I was watching the movie. I mean I understand some of the themes of the movie, but at the end of it I just kind of felt like "Well, time to take it back to Redbox" instead of thinking about anything I had just seen. Blah?

    Transformers: 3/10
I never realized how annoying Megan Fox is when she speaks. Her voice when she tries to act is almost enough to ruin her appeal. Way too long of a movie, and the plot seemed a little pathetic.
The "Primes" sending Chia LePoof back from the dead from heaven put it over the top.

    Gran Torino. 7/10.

Grumpy old man running around using every racial slur under the sun. Overall for some reason though, I liked it.

    Mall Cop.

Ugh. Actually didn't seem that bad at first; a few good moments at the beginning, but it just gets dumber and dumber. By the end it was just painful.

Right. The previews made the movie seem more serious/realistic than it actually was, and they made it seem like it was going to be funny. It was ridiculous. And I saw it at a "family" thing, so I couldn't leave and I couldn't turn it off.

Regarding the spoiler (everyone has seen this movie by now though..),
it's exactly how Gandalf from the Lord of the Rings is sent back to life after his fight with the demon

This is not true at all.

LOTR is a totally mythical world and Gandalf is part of a race of wizards, that uses magic and lives for hundreds of years. The story of how he comes back is different, but again, occurs in a world with magic.

Let me pose this question though, if the all-powerful Primes are capable of sending humans back from heaven, why aren't they capable of sending back their own kind in Prime?
