The December Man 5/10 Not a bad flick. It's like he's an older version of Bond. The plot is a bit played, and I feel like it tries to tell too many stories at once Rent it, don't see it in theaters.
She was smokin' in Bridesmaids! Fault in Our Stars 8/10 This film was slept on. Movie made me teary because you actually feel bad for the "sick" characters. Film had great chemistry from the two leads. The guy who played Augustus was very likeable and had great screen presence. Highly recommended date movie.
Eyes Wide Shut (1999) This was a lot more enjoyable since I saw it 15 years ago. Very underrated film. God I miss Stanley Kubrick. Can't get the visuals out of my mind.
Watched it today. I thought it was pretty crappy. Was on a flight back from London and watched first class and dofp and loved both of them. So thought I would give The Wolverine a shot. Here's what I didn't like: weak antagonist. Predictable story. Cheesy acting. Weak climax. Just felt like a straight to DVD movie Captain America winter: 8/10 Godzilla: 8/10 X men first class: 8.5/10 X men dofp: 9/10 The Wolverine: 5/10
Having read the book first I can't even give this a grade yet. I expect some things to be changed, added or ommitted but what the writers did here went way beyond that. I felt like I wasn't even watching the same story at times. My wife enjoyed it, and she hasn't read the book yet. And I think I will too on repeat viewings. But it's a shame they felt the need to change things so much and somewhat dumb it down too.
honeymoon- If yawl haven't seen it, then YOU KNOW NOTHING! 9/10, rose leslie's boobs are real and spectacular. For the actual movie, 6.4/10. Both leads showcased superb acting, but too many questions and no answers. I guess that's why a lot of critics liked it. Hope some of you have watched it because I need some answers now. It's bugging me.
Annabelle - 4/10 Absolutely nothing new. Not really scary, just loud "surprise" scenes that make you jump out of your seat. A few scenes were funny and out of place. I would give it a 1, but gave it a 4 because I enjoy watching scary movies with the gf.
