i think it may be gone from houston theaters by this friday.

saw an interview with ethan hawke, and it sounds like they are going to continue to make a new one every 9 years.

    The Call
better than I expected but Halle Berry still is a mediocre actress to me
Nice to look at but beyond that not much

The End was stupid and predicable
The VERY end was not as expected but kind of an eye roller

    The Reef

Really cool movie. I recorded it thinking it was another B shark movie. I love B movies and I love shark movies, so of course I love b shark movies!

This turned out to be much better than that though. It's a similar film to Open Water but with better acting and way more intense. I was actually on edge several times in the film.

    Definitely recommend.

Completely agree. Saw this last night, gave it a 4 out of 10. Some suspense but much was familiar ground and the performances were TV movie at best. And hey, you have Halle Barry in a movie and you feature Abigail Bresner in a bra? That should lose it a point just for that!

Reason why i say that is "The Cabin in the Woods" is as original and fun as it can get for the most part. It was quarky in its delivery.

yeah I mean I get it, and I get what it was supposed to be, but I just didn't enjoy it. It had definitely been hyped up to me by others, but I felt the presentation was lacking. The idea was original, yeah, but I felt like it was pretty predictable

You are not alone. I didn't particularly care for it, either. It was silly.

Not a big fan of remaking past tv shows, but this one absolutely nailed the right tone. Pretty damn funny and good chemistry between Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum. And the cameos are awesome!

Speaking of remaking past tv shows, saw Lone Ranger.

There were some good moments, but I'll give it a 6 overall. It just got a little silly at times and didn't really suck you in. I think the biggest problem is the acting of the lead character and inconsistency in his actions.

Lone Ranger 5/10. Too long. Spent too much time on Tonto's back story. FTW.
