Ghost Protocol was one of the best action movies I've seen in a while. Actually well worth the IMAX price of admission.

I've really been wanting to see this. But I think I'll wait for it to go to netflix/blu-ray because the crazy director has kind of scared me off this movie for a while.

Yeah, Lars von Trier is kind of an acquired taste. The last movie of his I saw was Dancer in the dark with Bjork. He suffers from depression and I think he’s bi-polar and he pulls a lot of his themes from his fight with the disease. It can make his work both frustrating and beautiful at the same time

Shame- 9/10. Michael Fassbender is here to stay. Incredible acting between him and Carey Mulligan. For fans of Requiem for a Dream, with an American Psycho feel to it.

    Watched Bridesmaids last night.

    I laughed a couple times.

    Thought it was nothing special.

Same here, I watched it Sunday... I thought they tried too hard for laughs. A few parts were funny and it may get better if watch it a few times, but first impression was ehhh. It's no Hangover. At best 6/10.

    dr strangelove-
    6/10

Apparently this was elvis favorite movie. It was okay and I think its just an older movie that maybe doesnt hold up well.

strangelove and the weird hands movement wasn't funny and felt forced and awkward. The movie was entertaining hence above 6 but I kept waiting for something to happen. Was campy and I prefer caddyshack if you want to go there.

    *****
the 3rd man - orson welles
The lead actress is banging. I mean really super fine european look. yum. Again doesnt hold up well to test of time. I knew all along orson welles had to be harry lime since he was in the damn movie! Nice spoiler!

Anyone else think a young orson welles looks like vince vaughn? anyway weak ending. this is supposed to be the one of the 'best movies ever?' hmm

next up is citizen kane. We'll see.

I am giving these old ones a whirl. If you are a movie buff and havent seen it go get the good the bad and the ugly. Talk about classic... Still trying to find that quintessential classic but so far nothing comes close to good bad ugly for me.

I really liked Warrior. Saw it last night. 8.5/10. Tom Hardy is gaining ground as my favorite actor.

I wanna check out Mission Impossible but I haven't seen the other ones. I'm assuming that I'll be ok?

I just saw Arthur Christmas with my daughter. I thought it was clever - I enjoyed it. 3D was not over the top, a nice addition. 7/10

Ghost Writer - The pedophile strikes again! Cool political thriller. 8/10
