Transformers: Dark side of the moon 5/10 I've pretty much liked the Transformer movies so far before this one. Despite the harsh criticism of 2, it did have holes in the plot but I still could say I enjoyed it. This one though had some really bad dialogue and the failed attempts at stupid type humor came off really badly at times. The saving grace of course were the action scenes and special effects (without those and the hot chick, this would probably be a 3 or 4/10). Even with those though, if they make a part 4 I think I'll wait to catch it as a rental (like 1$ redbox) rather than pay theater ticket and food prices with potentially crowded lines.
Streamed it last night...awesome movie. Any other international movies that I can stream through Netflix that's as good as this?
Green Lantern - 5/10 Would give it a 2/10 if I wasn't such a sucker for superhero movies. Need badder villains. Also, I thought that when a Lantern dies, the ring flies back to the elders or whatever they call them. How come in Hal's case, the ring went and chose a successor instead of flying back? Invictus - 7.5/10 Good stuff. Had some laughs whenever the South Africans curse. Not particularly heart warming or touching movie, but a decent laugh here and there.
a popular and really good one is Ip Man. I've also heard great things about Red Cliff. I've only watched about 30 minutes of it. The problem for me is it's difficult to keep track with the foreign names. I've been interrupted twice during the movie and had to start over because I couldn't remember who is who.
Watch Red Cliff part 1 and 2 together if you can. It's really good. Don't watch the US version where they put both together. Also IP Man was good. The second one not so much, except the table fight scene.
Horrible Bosses - 7/10 Had some funny parts and just overall a fun movie to watch. The Mechanic - 1.5/10 Can Jason Statham act more than one character? I reckon he cannot. My 3 year old nephew could think up of a better, less cliche boss-done-me-wrong-imma-get-revenge story line.
An American in China The shiny plastic case caught me in the middle of a pleasant movie-going mood, with me salivating the limitless potential funny/awkward moments between the clash of two cultures. Only to watch it with a forceably-sustained interest and come out the other end with only one phrase to describe the whole affair--an american young guy meets stunningly pretty rural poor chinese girl and not much else in between. Recommended for day time viewing only.

wow this makes mall cop look good? Mind you mall cop was about as bad as it can get.. one shade above leprechaun I would say. I just saw social network finally I would say 6/10. The story itself was boring but interesting (hence 6/10)enough since its the story of facebook...but I kept waiting for something to happen and then when they did it was still anti climax.. Maybe they didnt want to get lost in the stock dilution share dilution and what they had saverin sign to f*** him but ,I would like to know more about that. maybe what he signed really wasnt all that bad so they had to play it up. Also they were pretty vague on the twins, and I guess the twins never paid anything, just presented ideas.. werent clear about that and seemed to skip over seemingly important details. Seems like the moral of the story on that movie is to f**** anyone up if you can. also saw 'the tourist 'with angelina jolie and johnny depp. 5/10 It was about as bad as I thought it could be, but nice enough to see venice. Venice was basically the star of the show for this movie. Umm I havent seen many angelina jolie movies but this whole mysterious I'm the sh** act ,i'm so sexxy Im too sexy for this hat type attitude she has is annoying. Yes she is attractive, and yes I want to bang her ,so show her t*** and get on with it. I am not going to be teased through the camera .and as much as she may be a dime piece I'm not jerking my chain in the tv because she is breathing hard with close ups of her lips. Its annoying.. If anything I want to see close up of you know what or GTFO. As for johnny depp Im trying to think of a movie besides platoon that I even liked this guy in. Yes he the guy, is a likable guy but his body of work reads like an every day carnival at the holiday inn. Intrigue factor is riding around 3 for me with him ,and add to it a terrible story line where I know that johnny depp is really alexander pierce about 20% into the movie, so the whole setup is weak ,and is saved by him pulling his usual vaudevillian escape harry houidini style once again. Is depp part of the irish gypsy clan? he has an air about him that screams pinky rings and hand sock gloves . it was nice to see that evil russian guy is around and he does play a decent bad guy. I would like to see him be the bad guy in something else, and he is a good bad guy. He needs to be in another bond movie. I want to say he was one of the the bad guys in octopussy. ahh yes octopussy. good times. csb I overheard a guy saying this orson welles third man or something like that movie from 1949 is the shi* and that I need to go rent it... everyone loves it.. have to go check it out... probably hard to find.
Dollar Bill speaks pretty loudly as well. James knows that movie is going to make a TON of money. With kids home from school, parents are desperate to find anything to keep their kids out of their hair for a couple hours, even if that means sitting through a movie like this with them. Kids love talking animals and the movie looks like it has enough silly humor to satisfy most between the ages of 8-14.
Rampage. 4/10 This guy goes on a shooting spree through town after getting fed up with the bull **** in his life. I guess it was good enough to watch it until it went off.
13 - 13/100 If you want a movie with no plot or character development whatsoever, then this is the movie for you. In fact I'm gonna go ahead and tell you the ending since I don't want any of you to have to endure this POS: Man is broke, man enters russian roulette competition, man wins, man gets rich, man sends money home, man gets shot anyways and dies. There ya have it.
Transformers 3 - 5.5/10 only if you see this at IMAX 3D. Shia delivers whenever he acts; just not a fan of the story.
