Why shouldn't Iran be allowed to have nukes? They have a right to protect their country like anyone else.
There are a lot reports that Iran did not even say this. Sounds like typical jewish media propoganda to me. Isreal is the only one invading their neighbours e.g. Lebanon. Also the US is the only country to ever nuke another country, so why should they have nukes?
I merely expressed my concern that one day, the nutjob leader(s) of Iran may have a nuke at their disposal. Some will say, who cares, they can't deliver it to the US. It would only be a matter of time before the capability would be there, directly, or by proxy. A terrorist organization would love to slip one into a US city someday.
\ Dang you Max you $%&^#*&$&!!! (^$&%#%$(&&%%$!@(*!!!! In all seriousness, The Supreme Leader of Iran (That title kind of gives it away) is Grand Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, not the other guy, who is the President of Iran. Here's a quick blurb from Wiki:
^^ I've said it before: Ahmedinijad's views mean as much for Iran's foreign policy as Queen Elizabeth's for Britain's.
No, of course not... but when the Repubs phrase things to try and give people the impression that the other guy is in charge, you'll know better. Edit: And they don't have nukes... yet.
Because we can and we do. The United States has tried to curb the growth of atomic weapons around the world, starting with Jack Kennedy proposing the Nuclear Test Ban Treaty, but has never attempted to use force to get rid of those weapons, once a country has them. Our main goal has been to prevent countries that haven't yet aquired atomics from doing so. Thus, a big target on Iran. Does that surprise you? Impeach Bush.
