Judging by the rounds Rice and Felix Jones went in, I'd say you're playing with a bunch of morons.

Your team is stacked, even for an 8 team league.

Greg Olsen looks poised for a breakout. Kevin Smith and Darren McFadden should both have good years. Your WR corps is solid to the bottom. Well done.

Thanks i suppose lol. If you saw my previous post on pg 2 you'll see my draft philosophy and my two other teams. Any opinion on who i should drop for a K still?

    I'm leaning towards Edwards.

I really think you can spare Chris Henry at this point, he might have a few games where he hauls in some long TD passes, but his value is minimal in a PPR league.

Had one lastnight, #6 pick in a 10 team touchdown league.

    QB: Drew Brees
    RB: Steve Slaton
    RB.Ryan Grant
    WR: Anquan Boldin
    WR: Anthony Gonzalez
    WR: Donnie Avery
    TE: Antonio Gates
    DEF: Pittsburg
    K: David Akers

    BN:Cedric Benson
    BN: Percy Harvin
    BN: Kevin Curtis
    BN: Fred Jackson
    BN: Michael Jenkins
    BN: Tim Hightower

Didn't have a very good draft, WRs went fast.

Never good to not have a 1st option WR on your team. The quality of your team all depends on how highly your point system will value Brees.

In my league, standard Yahoo scoring but passing TDs are worth 6 and INTs -2. Ten team league with people I know through a mutual friend.

    Brees/Favre
    Moss/Jennings/Roy Williams/A. Bryant/D. Jackson/Ted Ginn Jr.
    P. Thomas/McFadden/D. Ward/Rice/Benson
    O. Daniels
    Kaeding

I told you to take Forte over Brees with the 6th pick.

Now you have to hope and pray Rice/McFadden turn into studs.

Looks pretty good, I guess. I'm surprised D-Mac slipped so far. Marshall too. What's up with that?

Seems high for Bowe (I'm iffy about Haley- he's got a quick trigger and junior high level disciplinary skills) and TJ (I got him 20 or 30 picks later in one league), but I suppose in such a WR intensive league it's not as bad as it looks. Hopefully Marshall will show up.

    Thanks fellas,

I feel pretty good about it. Dmac actually drew sneers from the rest of the teams when I picked him, we'll see.

Felt the potential value for both Marshall and Schaub was too good to pass on even though neither was someone I was specifically targeting.

    Anyway, I appreciate the feedback.

Boldin is a first option in fantasy. I think his numbers are better than Fitz when they play together. #1 player in fantasy ppg (for ppr at least) in fantasy last year by a good margin.

I just had a draft also. I feel a little lukewarm about it.

    12 team league, 1 PPR, 4-pt passing TDs, 1 flex R/W/T spot:

    QB
    Schaub
    Garrard

    RB
    Forte
    L. Washington
    A. Bradshaw
    L. McCoy
    K. Faulk

    WR
    Boldin
    E. Royal
    A. Gonzalez
    L. Moore
    D. Avery
    N. Burleson

    TE
    Witten

I plan to play matchups with defense/kicker. I don't have a backup TE and there's pretty much nothing left either. I'm thinking about picking up Pettigrew - anyone think he has a chance of doing anything this year? James Davis and Josh Morgan are also available and I have interest in them, but can really only get two of those three (would be willing to drop Burleson, Faulk).

Brees was the #1 player in our league last year. I kinda wished I would have waited though as he might have fallen back to me on the way down. Boldin has actually done really well for me the last 2 years (except for getting hurt last year) so I'm not too worried about him. I'm just not sold on Gonzalez and Avery as my 2nd and 3rd WR.

Not too bad but your backup RBs are kinda questionable. Forte is a great pick for a PPR league.

NO backup QB???????? A lot of your players are high risk high reward. I would drop Troy Williamson for someone else if available. Here's how I did in a league similar to yours where I picked 1 spot ahead.

Yahoo league... 12 teamer... 6 pt passing tds, stars 3 WR, TE play as WR
I had LT ranked 2nd and Andre Johnson 9th overall. I'm stoked to say the least.

    1. (7) LaDainian Tomlinson
    2. (18) Andre Johnson
    3. (31) Ronnie Brown
    4. (42) Philip Rivers
    5. (55) Roy Williams
    6. (66) Lee Evans
    7. (79) Reggie Bush
    8. (90) Michael Crabtree
    9. (103) Jeremy Shockey
    10. (114) Kevin Curtis
    11. (127) Brett Favre
    12. (138) Justin Gage
    13. (151) Leon Washington
    14. (162) Hakeem Nicks
    15. (175) Green Bay
    16. (186) Josh Brown

Good team. Are there any good TE available on waivers? Shockey was a big disappointment last season and the Saints just traded for David Thomas.
