They say to spend your money on experiences, but minimum wage? I don't know........I'm an old man and surely out of touch. If you have no regrets, and you didn't leave yourself in a bind financially, then I'm very happy for you. Seems like a wonderful meal.
If my math is correct, that's roughly around 115 hours of work(after tip) for that meal, IF that tab included tip. Did you split the price with your friend? If so then it was around 58 hours worth of work (again tip was included in the tab) Either way, odd tradeoff bro.
The "seafood tower" and the "Multiple glasses of Macallan 21/Rare Cask" might play into this... Need more facts.
From my research, it appears to be $150, and comes with oysters, poached mussels in ravigote, crab legs, lobster, cocktail shrimp, snow crab claws, tuna poke and seafood salsa made with charred octopus, shrimp and king crab.
Back a few years ago, the one at Reef was pimp, and looked about the same, and was delicious. I'm not sure what this guy is complaining about, unless his "multiple 21 year old" scotchs were watered down.
And we wonder why 78% of Americans are living paycheck to paycheck. SMDH... Mods, please delete this post if this is a troll thread
I saw Deshaun up there. It's aight. The whole atmosphere is a bit MUCH though. You've get the Dallas-style $30k millionaires like Paulftsk, the old dudes with 18-24yr old women they paid to be there and then the deer in headlights crowd that drove in from Katy. We need to move this beloved WALL of y'alls to the loop.
I think it’s incredibly stupid to spend that kind of money on a meal while making minimum wage. Me thinks there’s bullshit afoot.
