The only thing I didn't like reading there is the team putting any blame for their free throw woes on the fans saying "aaaaaghhhh" or boing after misses.... They had already missed like 20 by the time that was a factor. It might not have helped them, but I am pretty sure they get booed at most opposing arenas, among other things when shooting free throws.

 

Sheed has a well deserved ring too.

I would take Sheed in a heartbeat. He would instantly be our 3rd best player, you guys are crazy. The guy might have an attitude but that is exactly what this team needs. A Mario Elie/vernon Maxwell type. Don't tell me Bonzi is that guy, Bonzi is fake tough dude.

 

Both teams played hard.

 

The booing was pretty bad but they were like 1 for 18 by that time. C'mon these are FREE THROWS. Hit yo dam FREE throws and nobody would boo.

 

I'd also take Sheed on the Rockets in a heartbeat. Unfortunately, if Yao and TMac are not part of the discussion, there's nothing left the Rockets have to interest the Pistons.

Sheed also knows two things fans most likely don't. It's a Sunday game and the Rockets play the Bulls on Saturday. And the odds of DET looking as lethargic in transition at home is very, very remote.

This is what makes Tracy so weak to the core of his heart. He is recessive. If he was dominant he would have said well when the fans go aaaaaaagghhh it makes me want to focus more to hit the free throws next time so they can say yeahhhh!!!

I think on any night that we shoot as well as we can (not as bad as we have this year) we can compete with the Pistons. If our guys were playing consistent with their numbers the last few years then we'd be one of the best teams in the league. That said, if we are not ready, and shoot poorly, then they probably will crush us (that goes for any team, any game).

I don't know what all this talk is about not taking Sheed on our team though, he's a stud, and plays with fire...I'd love to have him.

 

Exactly, at halftime they were joking and clowning around during shootaround. Just the refs being a little too pro-active.


I am not digging Tracy's comment about the fans either. Are you THAT mentally weak that the fans' reaction to the misses hurts you? But I still am buzzing off his dunk before halftime. The entire TC was going crazy after that.

sheed is the perfect pf for our team. dice is also a very good fit. Actually, if they had traded wallaceX2 for yao/howard, it would have made both team much better.

I think he was speaking for Bonzi. I don't remember Tmac having a free throw in the second half where the fans were that involved like they were with Bonzi.
