How did Dickerson end up? He was becoming a good, young, athletic guard. Decent shot, quick moves.

I know we traded him and he played well for a year or two...did he get hurt???

i forgave the rockets for drafting dickerson and drew, b/c they seemed like good prospects....but to draft Mirsad Turkan and bypass lewis...I was very upset..., just imagine the team we could have had..... *sigh* and if the TMAC deal went through still.....

    Sura
    TMAC
    Lewis
    Howard
    Ming

that would have been a nice lineup to fit Yao's skills....open up the middle even more...

I would love to have him, but don't forget that we need to wait until he's a Knick before we make a move for him.

I'll always be a little dissapointed the Rockets didn't draft him. They did screw up...or did they? Things would have been way different, I believe, if he had gone to the Rockets. Looking back in recent memory, the Rockets SUCK at developing draft picks. That's about the only bad thing I'll ever admit or believe is true about the Rockets.

Maybe, it was just Rudy T's system was the problem. Afterall, he did cater to veterans. I'm not going to list the recent picks who haven't panned out, I don't have that kind of time on my hands.

Rudy and CD are smart guys, so maybe it's not that they misjudged every pick's potential in the last decade, but that they just didn't develop them.

Rashard was bitter towards the Rockets for a while after that draft. He's gotten over it, obviously. There's no reason to believe he should be still. The Rockets did him a favor by not drafting him based on our recent draft picks (oh by the way, I don't mean to include Yao).

Anyways, I'd love to see Rashard back home playing for the home team. Do I think it will happen anytime soon? No, unfortunately not.

I'd love to get Rashard, but there's no chance unless he opts out and takes a pay cut, or we can trade someone like Mo or Ho for him. I was at the game last night and I know when they said his name during introductions he got a great welcome. I can only imagine what it would have been like if he was actually on the team.

We will see Rashard at the end of his career like the way we saw Drexler. They way he his getting better each year Seattle will let go R. Allan before Lewis.

I said it before and I'll say it again there was absolutely no excuse on passing up on Rashard Lewis 3 freaking times!!! It's not like CD and company didn't have a chance to scout the kid he only played ball here in Houston!!! It's not like they could have missed him the poor guy was crying in the green room. Every fan in Houston, Lewis and his family, everyone in the media, hell everyone everywhere thought Lewis would be a Rocket. Decisions like that lead me to believe general managers are no better than a casual fan when it comes personnel decisions.

After the draft I called 610 and asked Feigen if Lewis would have still been around in the second round when the Rockets selected Cat, if they would have taken Lewis over Cat. He said that they had targeted Mobley with that pick and most likely would have taken Cuttino over Rashard.

It was just unf***ng believable, if I live to be 100, it'll still piss me off.
