Successful Scenario
Due to Houston and Seattle being over the cap, the 25% trade rule is invoked. Houston and Seattle had to be no more than 125% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Good gosh if that were to be done! Too bad it's Rashard opting out so he can get paid. Then the Rockets would still have to give him an offer after the season.

Rashard Lewis is a softie with absolutely no heart at all. He will sit out the big games due to finger injury.
