Raptors will be busy keeping DeRozan. He's straight outta Compton and the Lakers will do their pitch. Toronto can't afford both DeRozan and Durant anyways without going deep in the taxes. And they'll have to pay Lowry next year.
Salary cap aside... In order of NBA standings Curry, Thompson, Durant, Green Leonard, Durant, Aldridge Irving, Durant, James(or Durant, James, Love) Lowry, DeRozan, Durant Westbrook, Durant, Ibaka Paul, Durant, Jordan(or Paul, Durant, Griffin) Conley, Durant, Gasol Thomas, Bradley, Durant, Crowder Wade, Durant, Bosh Durant, Millsap, Horford Walker, Batum, Durant Durant, Nowitzki P.George, Durant Lillard, McCollum, Durant Rose, Butler, Durant, Gasol Jackson, Caldwell-Pope, Durant, Drummond Harden, Durant Wall, Beal, Durant Hood, Hayward, Durant, Gobert Payton, Oladipo, Durant, Vucevic Antetokounmpo, Middleton, Durant, Parker Durant, D.Cousins C.Anthony, Durant Mudiay, Barton, W.Chandler, Gallinari, Durant, Faried Durant, A.Davis Wiggins, Durant, Towns Durant, B.Lopez Bledsoe, Knight, Booker, Durant Russell, Clarkson, Durant, Randle Durant, Noel, Okafor Warriors, Spurs, Raptors, Thunder, Heat, Hawks, Blazers, Jazz, Bucks, TWolves most appealing IMO.
Spurs with Durant, scary thought. Would his image get damaged if he left to join the Spurs? I think it would get damaged if it's the Warriors.
I think there's a far better chance of him convincing 2-3 other superstars to join him on the Lakers. The Lakers will have something like $60m in cap space and a top 3 pick. That's really dangerous for the Rockets. I'm sure Harden would love to play in Los Angeles with Durant. So would Horford. So would Derozan. Maybe even Conley.
Nowitski should not be ahead of Harden. If names like Randle, Lopez, and Barton are going to be named then where is Ariza?
Can you read? I said in order of NBA standings. Dallas is ahead of Houston in the standings, are they not? If not Randle, Clarkson, Russell, who the hell else am I supposed to use for the Lakers? If not Lopez for the Nets, who the hell else am I supposed to use for the Nets? And Denver has a collection of good-not-great players. And in the end, that's why he's not going to any of those places!
