If we lose Dragic and Lee for nothing, trade away Lowry for peanuts, and both Asik and Lin are matched, how can Les justify keeping Morey? That's a pretty impressive run of fail, right there.

They did. That's been pretty well documented.

A better GM would have been able to do it back then. Now this pick will probably end up being 14th pick again.

No disrespect to Terrence Ross, but more than likely come February that pick will be gold and probably be way more valuable in trades.

GM's like to dream just like anyone else. When you have a player now attached to that pick, you limit the suitors that want that potential players.

If Toronto wanted Ross, there's not a whole hell of a lot we could do about that.

Let's wait until it actually does before we go a-b****in' about it mmmkay?

My only regret is Canada didn't accept DonnyMost as part of the trade. That would have tipped the trade in favor of America.

Toronto wasn't going to make a move for a PG until they were out of the running for Nash.

Isn't that part of the tanking that you endlessly prattle about?

    SMH

So Morey didn't manage to swing a draft night trade... because he is a bad GM?

Houston went from having too many PGs last season to not having any.

    Great job, Morey.

We get the pick in year 6, even if it is #1 overall. That is the latest I have heard.

One more thing. For all you guys who think the Raps are gonna suck and that the pick will be high lotto, that's exactly what most said about the Knicks pick that turned out to be #16.

Also if there's one thing I've leaned about draft pick protection, it's that it is easily manipulated. Case in point, Golden state last year. If the Raps do end up sucking, they'll find a way to suck bad enough so that we don't get the # 4 pick next year.

This was a bad trade for us.

But it's not the end of the world. Still a bad trade though.

Wow, all I can say is wow. I don't see lottery for raptors or at least high chance even to be in top 5 for this trade to be even worth it. Kinda shows how desperate they were to get rid of Lowry.
