We've been over this before and the general consensus seems to be:

    Mike Jones = No Talent.

    I tend to agree.

Listening to Ludacris entertains me more than any other rapper out there today, with the possible exception of Eminem.

The trend in these discussions seems to be that somehow, underground or little-known rappers should be valued above heavily promoted rappers because they're apparently "keeping it real" or "representing".

My stance on the matter is that these heavily promoted rappers are promoted for a reason. They are the best of the best.

This excludes those who experience their 15 minutes of fame and then duck out. Or those who only got in and stayed in temporarily because of who they knew *cough* 50 Cent *cough*.

I also remember bumping the Warren G: G Funk Era album back in my freshman year at Kempner High.

"I hit the gates, and I hops on my Schwinn.
And I tell da homeys 'aight den'
It's kinda easy when ya listen to the G'd up sound
Pioneer speakers bumpin as I smoke on a pound
I got the sound fo yo ass and it's easy to see
that this DJ be Warren G"

How great would it be if Eminem and Ludacris battled each other. I'd order that on PPV.

I've always heard that Ludacris was no good when it came to battling.

    But he sure can write.

Class of '98, back when the school was still in its prime. I hear it really deteriorated since then, as teachers have since stopped caring.

You ever hear of "Kempnergate"? I was one of the four kids involved in that charade with the master key and the test stealing.

Royce da 5'9"....not big yet but boy he can spit venom with the best of them.

If you're interested, check out "Malcolm X", as diss track to D12. Also take a listen to "Something's Wrong with Him" from his album "Death is Certain".

Jay-Z and Nas are the best "famous" rappers today.

Best producers: DJ Primo and the Neptunes.

In the Eminem song "Till I Collapse" there is a line that goes:

"I got a list; here's the order of my list that it's in.
It goes: Reggie, Jay-Z, TuPac and Biggie.
Andre from Outkast, ????????, Nas and then me"

Who is Reggie? Anyone have an idea?

Reggie Noble = Redman. Great song btw... one of my favorites of all time.
