Totally slept on this album. Robert Glasper - Black Radio. Heavily Jazz influenced and a great sound experience. Please check it out.

Extremely true. I say he just got plain lazy. Once the accolades started coming in, he started getting more recognition, more people wanted him to jump on their tracks, his verses started getting lazier and the output wasn't up to par.
It's really disappointing to think about.

    One of my favourite rappers(plus he's Nigerian/American)

^The use of Aaliyah's "One in a million" is always a win in my book

I usually don't care when certain rappers are underrated and still unknown in the mainstream( I kinda like that with certain musicians and music groups) but I just get so ticked off that Phil Ade isn't know a bit more(outside of the big hip hop followers). Dude is LEGIT!

Is it just me or does Big K.R.I.T sound so much like Pimp C (R.I.P).?

I think Pimp C and Andre 3000 are his biggest influences(my opinion, not official or anything), you can really hear these two legends in him.

Yeah definitely man, I know I've heard him give plenty of shout outs to Houston.:p
Plus here is another really good song of his that also features two rappers from Houston ; Killa Kyleon and Devin The Dude.

Alterbeats, a French Hip Hop production team, recently released their debut album "French Revolution". Really dope beats and tracks. It kind of reminds me of stuff from New York like Mobb Deep, Immortal Technique, Ghostface Killah, etc...definitely shouldn't sleep on this one. This is real Rap. :):)
