and i'd be interested to hear your top 5, people have very different opinions on rap which makes these lists always interesting to hear different opinions.

I posted something about my top 5 already...said i couldn't make a decision because it would end up as 10 people. but Nas would be in it. Tupac would be. So would biggie. I would put scarface and z-ro too, I had blu in it for below the heavens...etc... i can go on.. I just don't know. I listen for realism and lyrical value. then maybe the beats. idk

Oh yeah Tupac and Biggie would be in mine for sure, my list was just current rappers. I'd say Tupac is my favorite rapper of all time.

Graduation, Late Registration and College Dropout were all amazing albums I enjoyed 808's also but that was something different on Dark Fantasy I was okay with it I enjoyed about 5 or 6 songs on it. Watch the throne was trash and This group project looks like trash too.

I'd say Lasers was a lot better than Watch the Throne.

We doing nostalgic Kanye.:) College Dropout is my favorite hip-hop CD. I will always have my memories of being 14 being given two Cd's from my brother during the summer. It was Dropout and The Root's Tipping Point. I now look back at that moment as one of the major shifts in my love of hip-hop.

She's a good person and artist, but chose the sell out part and created this crazy persona. Same with Lady GaGa.

Can't really blame them, they makin money like cray with that.

that's why Hopsin is the realest out right now. He could've sold out multiple times (Ex: was asked to feature in a song with Lil Wayne) but stayed true to his values.
