dude back in college, my roommate said he was from 'Houston'. so when the holidays came, I went home to the 713. I decided to go buy an old piece of furniture from his dad. so he tells me his address (281), I was in the middle of nowhere out in FM1960. I think it took me 2 hours total with traffic to get a stupid table back to the 713.
I'm gonna b**** about traffic constantly just to wad up this douchebag's panties just a little more. Seriously, what a r****d.
Hell yeah! 52 unanswered points on Saturday...42 of them coming in one 15-minute span. Katy Jr. High could beat any 713 team. With one hand tied behind their backs.
Does the 713/281/832 distinction even mean anything anymore? My sister just moved from inside the loop near the Astrodome to outside the loop west of the Galleria area. Her number changed from an 832 number to a 713 number. Bah, 409 > all. And by >, I mean "is dirtier than".
All I know is that I've become a much happier person the further outside the loop I've moved. I'm guessing it was being in proximity to such a whiny windbag for so long.
I'm a 713'er but I live in Kingwood thanks to Verizon Wireless. Houston has become too ghetto for me. And I use Park and Ride, so SUCK IT. I wave my middle finger in your general direction as I'm wisked away from downtown at 70 mph back home to my suburban heaven every weekday afternoon.
Man I feel you, The g/f needed a desk for school so I told her when she found one I would take her since I had a truck well she got on craigslist and found one it was out in the 281 around sugarland. Two hours later after stupid traffic and stupid curved streets that all look the same we were able to get it and get home back in the 713.
You sure do have a holier-than-thou attitude for someone who buys used desks off craigslist.. Can't we all just be Rockets fans and get along??
I did not use that crap the g/f did. She is in law school ie. no money. I'm not going to buy her a desk when we have a table that is fine so I told her when she finds one I would go get it. I sure did not think she would pick one so far away down around the Texas/Mexico border
do you buy or rent? what actual area of the inner loop do you live in? it better be west u or river oaks with all the $hit talk I don't really ever want to live in the suburbs but I can see why people would and why they enjoy it. Bigger houses, safer neighborhoods, better schools, a sense of community all for a more affordable price
I grew up in West U, went to Lamar, I now live in a town house downtown. I might be moving to New York for a few years so that is why I'm renting right now but if I don't I'll still buy in town. Folks say it's too expensive to live in town but it's not. Plenty of deals to be had imo
