Actually, aside from smoking a few cigarette's, (wonderful habit to get back into  ) I've contacted prepaid legal and I'm getting a local lawyer to look into it, I've contacted my payroll office and they are looking into it, and to help relieve the stess, I am looking around town for that Glock 23...seriously though, it's just for shooting targets at the range.

    Very easy.

In Texas and most of the United States, IRT Family law and parenting, by default, Mom > Dad.

    The end.

You can't waive cs through a prenup.

how is your ex-wife tricking the attorney general for 27,000? that\'s a lot of freaking money to have to pay back in one go!

i guess thats usually the case unless if you can prove otherwise? ex: she can't handle the financial responsibility nor has the time to take care of the child. so that would mean you would get full custody if you prove you can, correct? does that also mean she would have to pay you for child support?

Good question. I know that both the AG and the Ex are ****ing idiots. You put two idiots together and you end up with one very annoyed FT.

I hope that she marked that I have not been paying. It would be nice to see her reprimanded for doing that. At this point though, I have no idea where the error is.

and before anyone asks, I have been paying the court ordered c/s and insurance from day one.

That's ALWAYS the case unless you prove otherwise.
Unless she is a drug crazed maniac, or endangering the child, all else being equal, mom > dad.

Yes, she would pay cs is dad was custodial parent.

You make it sound like it is so easy to just up and get custody of kids when you are male. There has to be lots and lots and lots of undisputible proof that she cannot hack it as a parent OR they have to be of a certain age to be able to decide where they want to live. If a woman doesn't have custody of young kids then it means that she is terrible parent.

If you had an appreciable increase in your income and did not voluntarily increase your child support accordingly, you probably owe the money. Based on the history with your ex-wife, it was a given that she would go to court whenever she learned of any increase in your $$$. Good luck.

From the little I know about Family Law, I do not think they can make you pay back child support on an increase in income. They can make you pay more from that point in time but not back increases. Just like if you make less money and do not go to the court to get it reduced, you still owe the greater amount.

Did you always go through the AG's office? I know anything that isn't done through them or some other child support agency is considered a gift unless your ex signs some form saying otherwise. We went through this already. Oh and there isn't anyone who works for the AG's office (at least the child support division) that has a lick of sense. They usually tell the payee whatever they want to hear.

It has to be a difference of $100.00 or more to make a change in the support.

They cannot go retroactive. When they review the case, they adjust it. It's not adjusted on the fly.

Yes. Everything is done through the AG. Payroll at my work has the documentation of all payments made.

Yeah, good luck...As long as you can show your pay stubs, that should be good enough...My ex tries to piss me off at least once a week if not two...

I know your pissed off, but try not to let it get to you...I find that if I let her get to me, it f's up my attitude for at least a couple of hours, and life is too short for that...

    B*tches suck...

    Good luck Falcons Talon.

When all this is resolved, buy your kid the biggest, loudest drum set you can find, and deliver it to your ex-wife's house.

That'll make you feel better :)

the AG's office has absolutely no desire or intention to help you or your child
    merely to SCREW the man.

    They not interested in fair
If you are male. . you are guilty and they seek to treat you with
as much animosity and hatred no matter what you are doing

I called to see if my money made it in.
They put me through 20 questions just to tell me. . we cannot see that info
I said. . .why didn't you just say that . .they were like .. well we needed
to verify all your information and blah blah blah

I felt like a d*mn criminal checking in with his PO

The AG's office is a bunch of crap . . .. vile bitter humans
    work in that place

    Amen

unless she shows up in court with a crack pipe in one hand
and a needle in the other arm . . .
it seems almost next to impossible for the father to get custody

in all fairness can you even imagine all of the lying dead beat dad\'s they deal with daily? imo it seems like they would have to be very tough in order to assure they weren\'t being scammed by some loser dad with no intention of paying his due.

on the other it indeed seems rare that even the best of dad\'s actually get custody.
