    When it rains it poors. You will get your money back from ebay more than likely. So you're only down $100 + time spent. Lessons learned so nothing else to do but more along and not let it bug you

    I once bought a car from craiglist that needed $3,500 of repairs.
    That guy got me really good and damn those asian mechanic crooks.

    I guess I've been lucky with my transactions through CL and eBay.

    You'll get your money back from PayPal, it's just gonna take about a week.

    I bought a brand new 250GB PS3 for $240 a week ago. :grin:

    Sorry to say this but losing a total $370 to two scams is not that big of a deal. It definitely sucks but things could have been worse. Questions the world of "honor and dignity" is a bit dramatic. The world is f****d up more way more sad/deranged/pathetic reasons.

    I hope (and think) that paypal gets you your money back for the PS3 at least.

    Hows this for advice: 1.When buying big ticket items, forget the deal and pay the hefty sum for the peace of mind of it working and the warranty that comes with it.

    2.Shoulda purchased a XBOX 360.

    Through CL. I also bought a new 60GB 360 earlier this year for $140. You just have to look daily before someone beats you to it.

    And before you buy a system, always write down model numbers and know where the warranty seals are located.

    If you use paypal and bought the ps3 on ebay, you should be able to get back your money. Ebay scams are so wide spread I got into them 3 times already, and I totally only have like 10 transaction with ebay.

    Each time I can get my money back. That's why paypal exists. It helps you to get your money back on ebay transactions if you got scammed.
