[Rant]Flip Flops Being Worn When It Is Under 50 Degrees Outside

Do you wear shorts in the summer? Are you a sneaker person?

 

So I should wear water shoes to walk from my hotel room to the pool? I don't wear shoes into a pool.

What about when I walk from my locker at the health club to the shower?

 

I wear shorts all the time actually. I enjoy the cold weather. I am not a sneaker person exclusively. I don't wear sandals of any kind. But if I were to wear some, they wouldn't be flip-flops.

Plus they are terrible for your ankles and imagine if you ever have to take off running for whatever reason. You are **** outta luck.

 

According to bladeage....you're a pendejo.

 

On your way to the shower, wear plastic bags or empty kleenex boxes.

 

I'll add that to my list after 'Wear clean underwear just in case I get into a wreck'.

if it's 40 degrees, hell no, but I wear flip flops every where I go...even to church...

 

I don't mind chicks wearing flip flops because I like their feet!

I get my flip flops from A & F, which are much more comfortable than in the past.

Personally, I prefer to mix it up so I wear puma's, chucks, ballin shoes, & black/brown dress shoes.

A very good friend and co worker wore a tank top and shorts every day of the year, now he lives in Seattle...and he still dresses the same.

I am truly fascinated by this whole 'flip flops are stupid and/or lame and/or gross.' I'd never heard such a thing until my ex here at OU said that men should never wear flip flops. Totally blew my mind and I can't believe some of you get so worked up over them.

Doesn't bother me, but I just don't get it. The Dude abides, I suppose.

The funny thing is, her opinion was probably shaped by some womens' magazine. "They told me to think that sandals on men are stupid, so I think they're stupid!"
