I disagree, not because I don't think a PG should score but the problem with the Rockets lies in the fact that there are too many players that CAN"T score and it leaves that responsibility to Rafer. You replace Head, Battier, Hayes, Deke, with people who can score and remove that presure from Rafer and we are fine. I am not a huge Rafer fan but I'm certainly not a hater. I actually give him props for doing his best to assume the scoring responsibility when nobody else will, even though it's not his strength. I certainly don't fault him for having four or five guys in our rotation that are offensively challenged and some of them are offensively worthless.

Rafer plays his respective position at a much higher level than any of the guys I mentioned above except for possibly Battier which is debatable. I think you improve your weakest point first and Rafer is not it. A serviceable 2-3 that can score consistantly is a higher priority. Thats why I voted for Douglas-Roberts in the poll.

Hudson looks shorter than 6'3" and is stocky which doesn't look good for a combo guard in the NBA. If he stays in college and learns how to play the point it might help him make it to the pros.

I think it's >75% we don't select any of the names on that list, even though I'd say over 75% will be available there. Joe Alexander will not be, CDR should not be, but even then I have a feeling Morey will pull something out of his top hat as usual. I believe Morey will not select Ty Lawson, DJ Augustin, Roy Hibbert,

Like people are saying, best player available with a mind towards development. Some intriguing guys that aren't listed are Bill Walker , JJ Hickson, and JR Giddens (Morey has shown us he's not afraid of the upper-upperclassmen). And international players must not be overlooked. Of the ones listed on top, I think CDR and Courtney Lee fit our system well, but Morey will prioritize a player's ceiling over their readiness to contribute.
