So far it looks like Amen and Sengun are most consistently in the top 3. Jalen is unsurprisingly all over the place in these rankings, but probably #3 on average.
With that logic only sengun looked like an actual player. Smith was called a bust playing under silas.
Not sure about your logic. If you take away the best games of any player... It's those great games and how many of them that separate great players from mediocre ones. Jalen's problem is that he has enough of those games to show you that he has the abilities to do them, not just Corey Brewer's once in a lifetime fluke 50-point game. But he also has more bad games to make you wonder.
He is not even the best on the team, but I think people that have an agenda against Sengün want him to be the best player. Udoka has a self interest to expedite things but even if you expedite things, things will regress to the mean at any time.....this is just how logic works. I guess you are right that if you take out the true best players, but he is not there yet, he has yet to string together at least 2+ seasons of great play and we can re-visit this topic. This is not the thread of his abilities, the thing is the NBA is catching up to him, they would not let him be just be driving recklessly. He has fatal flaws still that better teams are more than adept at taking him out.
send out bari + brooks/fred +this years wack pick and get Paul George. Bari will never be as good anyway lacks fluidity and raw basketball skill. then you roll out Sengun George Amen Jalen Fred/Cam/Tari and let Amen/Sengun playmake. Sengun needs to learn the three ball though
paul George will be 34 in May and we aren’t winning a championship next year. I wouldn’t trade Bari straight up for him.
Well somebody needs to bring experience to this team. With current medicine 34 isn’t that bad and George could teach A LOT
We passed on Harden for free to give us a ton of assets for George or Durant? I wouldn't get it. If we're moving significant assets, it should be on a guy who will at least be under 30 next season. Guys under 28 averaging 25+ ppg per 36 over league average TS% Luka SGA Brunson Tatum Booker Mitchell Williamson Markkanen Sexton The bottom 4 have been rumored to be available, top 5 seem relatively untouchable. Is Collin Sexton the bargain star we need?
For me. 1A Sengun 1B Green 2 Amen 3 Bari 4 Tari 5 Cam Reason? 1A and 1B are head and shoulders above the rest in playmaking out of self creation in the half court set. Like there is a massive gap in that ability after those two. And to me that's the most important ability to become a "star". Amen is third because he shows all defensive first team potential After Amen, it's a very difficult guess.
