Don't get me wrong I'm not Knocking Ariza. I like Ariza in fact I think he actually helps swing some of these ties in our favor. Its just the other teams star wing is that much better than ours.

Kmart couldn't lead the Kings anywhere either so knocking Granger for that is incorrect. I just think Granger is better than Kmart because of his size. When it comes down to it basketball is a sport about height.

As far as Ginobili goes when parker got hurt last year he started every game. He also started every game in the playoffs which they beat Dallas. So yes I would take Ginobili.

All shooters are inconsistent. Look at Martin's stats last year. he was not a consistent 20 pt scorer. He had his good days and bad days. But as far as a system Fit Ray Allen is about to become the all time leader in 3 pts made and his defense on Kobe was pretty solid. So yes I would take Ray Allen.

Ray Allen's stats are only seem to be declining because he doesn't have to do as much on his team. Put him on a crappy team where he gets to take most of the shots and you will see a big jump in his scoring. Consumate proffesional.

of course do we agree that you said COMBO
there are always two for this

KevMart and TAriza are a better fit therefore a better combo, no matter how good of individuals others are
I can see that and believe others seen that
They played what, 30 somewhat games and they played fairly well as a tandem
I rated them not only because of their individual strength but how good they complement each other

Ginobili is old and extremely inconsistent now, whereas Martin is consistently a way-above-average (though not superstar) SG. Andre Iguodala is better, but not a SG. He's a SF, he doesn't have the range to play the 2 well, and Evan Turner is clearly the 2 on that team. Ray Allen is way better than Ben Gordon, but unlike the thoughts of some other posters, is not as good as Kevin Martin.

Don't try to show how great of a player he is by his amazing game (which was amazing) when that amazing game was followed by one of the biggest disappearing acts ever. He's 34 and can't consistently get his shot.

Allen...you're alone on that one chief.
