    I'd say that's a reasonable possibility.

My first opening day game and it was awesome! Good to see all the Rangers fans around me in disappointment. Here's hoping to a surprisingly good season!

Well that was fun.....I guess I'll wait till next year when the Astros maybe get on ESPN to watch them again. At least it was a win....

Not sure if it has been said, but there was definitely some serious tension between Ranger and Astro fans in the ballpark tonight... especially once they realized they weren't going to walk all over us.

I know people scoff at the notion, but this is gonna be a rivalry. Maybe not today, but the groundwork is there.

Well said, Baseballa. I know people didn't want this to be forced, but I work and live with Ranger fans. This rivalry will grow, and I cannot wait for this to become something that leads to national attention and playoff races!

So any chance we get to see all of the Astros Rangers games on fox sports?

I'm out of market... so I think so. Not sure about people IN houston, but outside of it should.

Yeah I've always been pretty surprised at the Astros fans who feel a rivalry w the rangers would somehow never materialize or feel "forced." it's Dallas, I want to beat them in everything - baseball is no different. I was at the great game last June... It's already a rivalry.

13 Ks baby. I guess we should expect more extra base hits, more big innings and fewer GiDPs. Welcome to the American League!

We seem to have a lot more feast-or-famine type hitters as well. We will see our share of homeruns.

Seems like Houston teams have a knack for beating Dallas area teams when joining a new league, eh?

I agree we have a lot of feast or famine hitters (Maxwell, Carter, Pena). I'm just worried that the Astros will get more than their fair share of the famine. I loved the start of the season.

That was fun, it's a shame that I won't be able to follow the new era with out a TV deal in place, a real shame.

Fun game to watch and it made me a little upset that I won't be able to watch more...but then i realized games like that one will probably be very few and far between.
