The place was packed with lots of good-looking women of all types, all of them dressed down, groovin' and gettin' down to the blues. It was killer. Got me 3 phone numbers and a Lewinsky after I was done playing.

I'm sorry. I usually play at this jam each month. It's always on the last Thursday of each month. Last night was extra crowded since it was election night for the officers of the Houston Blues Society. You should definitely check it out in July.
I completely agree about the women here. I'm not a man of mad game, but I can talk to the girls here much easier than I can anywhere else.

My deepest apologies for not showing, guys. I could sit here and give some lame excuse (read: lie) as to why I didn't make it, but the simple truth is this: I drank way, way, way, way, way too much on Friday night and didn't get to bed until 3am. I'm sorry, but this old body can't do things like that anymore. I spent all of Saturday huddled on the couch watching movies and drinking water to replace all that I pissed out Friday night. Now it's Sunday morning and I still feel like ****.

We ended up at Zimms, then The Social...I think. There's a lot about that night that I don't remember. However, I do remember seeing this girl I had a huge crush on in high school. I went to dinner at Cafe Adobe before we went out, saw her, got her number, she got mine, let her know that I might have an extra ticket to the DMB show, and she definitely sounded interested. She's definitely out of my league, but who knows. I wonder if DCKid checks this thread...he graduated with her. He'll confirm that she's out of my league, and he's never met me!
