It should have happened DURING the PAST year. He should have been the "Derrick Mason" pickup. Give TJ Yates someone else to throw to besides Jacoby and Walter. Baltimore has a great smart defense. But in the playoffs on Yates deep INT to Andre in double coverage, if Moss was on the field at the same time you don't think they'd respect even his declined ability and maybe give him some extra attention to free things up just a LITTLE everywhere else? Thats one play one scenario, but look at what the one play one-scenario Jacoby muffed punt catch did for the team's outcome. But pass on Moss now. A 1st day draft pick on a WR can have as much effect if not more effect, plus there are some good WRs in free agency.
I would take moss for 1 year, why not? I dont get it, people want peyton, even if the texans get apart (trading schaub, not able to sign mario, etc) and that will be only for 1-2 years. (IF HE IS HEALTHY). you could take randy moss for cheap and let AJ more open, and still draft a WR in the draft.
definitely interested in a 1 year, cheap/incentive-heavy deal. PLUS a 1st day draft pick WR. Jacoby out. Hopefully Moss is the #2 and the rookie is the #3. Maybe they flip. And maybe we have to cut Moss and Walter/another FA becomes the #3. I'm ok with any of those scenarios..
I read last year that Moss flew in to talk with the Texans and left without a deal, what about Reggie Wayne? We trade Scaub and Mario and sign Peyton and Wayne?
Happy Birthday, Randy Moss (35 years old, 2 days ago) Owens is 2 years older and coming off major knee surgery. He's pretty much done. Moss has lost a couple steps though his issue is more his attitude and mindset than physical. If TO did not get hurt I'd go TO. Headcase but hard worker and consistently productive even at a later age. Since he is hurt, then Moss. Though at this point both of them are the Bryant Johnson, Andre Davis "experienced receiver depth" 4th-5th man, #3 at best.
