If Morey truly values Hinrich as a player as much as I do, and if Morey is of the opinion (like I am) that the Knicks won't get Lebron and will probably not be very good for two more years, then this trade would be among the best possibilities for the Rockets. Regardless, unless T-Mac is going to be a Rocket beyond this year, then SOME trade is probably the best alternative.

I don't think there is any validity to that Bosh trade proposal. No way Toronto does it. MAYBE if the Raptors are terrible by February, they consider trading Bosh, but it would probably cost Scola, Lowry AND Landry AND draft picks.

Why would Ginobili want to sign with Houston after the Rockets renounce their rights to Scola in order to create the $9M in cap room to begin with?

What the Rockets have is one young PG about to hit free agency, another who is only signed for next year, and 3 small forwards all trying to play some SG. Chase has played his minutes almost exclusively at SF. It has yet to be determined whether he has the lateral quickness to defend NBA shooting guards, let alone as a starter.

I was joking around and found out this. We need New Orleans to suck for a little bit of time.

In ESPN Trade Machine and Real GM trade checker works. Thanks to CP3 BYC clause.

T-Mac, Landry and Brooks for CP3 - Okafor - Petersion

Why would NO do it, basically because if the stink a little bit more they would need to unload as much salary as they can.
Okafor has still 5 years at 50 millions. CP3 3 years at 45 and Mo Pete has 2 at 11. so that's a lot of savings.
They will have McGrady massive expiring and 2 youngsters that can be resigned for long contracts at a really cheap price.

    Why we do it?
Well because Okafor gives us a definitive solution at our C and CP3 make's us better. Yao and Okafor can be well rested and even share the court for spurts and keep both on under 30 mpg average. Mo Pete won't see court time, can be used in further trades along with Battier.

CP3 sells tickets for the Hornets and I don't think the trade would help them that much financially in the long term. Plus that's far from enough to get a star like CP3 and a servicable big in Okafor. You have to at least throw in two unprotected first round picks.
