I would be amenable to acquiring any of the following, but I am only offering Capela and / or Tate + up to 2 SRPs for any of them

    Cam Spencer (MEM)
    Scotty Pippen Jr. (MEM)
    Ryan Rollins (MIL)
    Vit Krejci (ATL)
    Tre Jones (CHI)

I would include Tari Eason to get Coby White or Quentin Grimes.

Grimes would be my primary choice after Jan. 15th. Might be willing to include protected 2030 or 2031 pick provided Grimes re-signs with Htown.

    I counter with

FVV, DFS, Capela, Holiday and Tate to Pistons

LeVert, Ivey, Holland, Paul Reed, Hou 2028 top 4 protected 1st to Hawks

    Young, Djurisic, Lanier to Rockets

Hawks waive Dante, Rockets convert a 2-way player to fulfill rosters requirements.

There it is, our tire kicking offer. If the Pistons don't love Ivey, Holland and a protected 1st as value for Trae they can eat ****.

Was with you for a minute. I like the names.

I do think you’re under estimating Cam Spencer, Ryan Rollins, and Tari Eason’s trade value and over estimating Grimes and White’s a bit.

We (I) don’t want Trae. Wizards can have him.

We do need a point guard but not Trae.

Just go get CP3 for the remaining 50 games. He retires, Fred comes back. Next year. We have no money, he makes no money.

Maybe we can use his assholeness. We lost that edge with Dillon and taken on the personality of Katie.

“He’s washed.” … I’m not asking for 20 or even 10. Prospective PGs: Can you inbound the ball or get the ball on the inbound? Can you get past half court? Can you dribble? Can you throw a pass? Settle the team when they go full tard in second halves/4th quarters/crunch time?

Or bring Jim home and let him & KD retire rockets.

Entirely possible. I think Grimes would be a great addition if we could get him for Capela + Tate + 2 SRPs

Pbev when they have the money for vet min would be worth consideration imo.

Would bring that Dillon like intensity. Decent three point shooter. Will give max effort defensively. Low turnover guy. Vet.

I don't see any reason for Fred to agree to such a trade. By all reports he likes it in Houston, is playing for a very good team, and may be on track to be back during the playoffs. I guess you never know for 100% certain what can be worked out via negotiation, but I'm currently expecting him to still be on the team after the trade deadline.

why would the Bucks trade Rollins? Hasn't he been their second best player this season?

Besides KD and Amen, are there any other players on the team that are untouchable? Possibly Reed due to contract and age and Steve due to production. Is Sengun untouchable? I always believed that Ime wanted a defense minded Center.

I don't see the Rockets going heavily into the luxury tax. The repeater tax really is only a big deal when a team goes way, way over the tax threshold.

I think the Rockets will be around the 1st apron threshold if Sengun, Amen, Reed maxed in 2030, JSJ, 4 FRPs, 2 TP-MLEs, and minimums. Reed a little under max would allow a TP-MLE to be swapped for Tari. Assuming three guys on maxes is kind of a worst case from a financial standpoint, but could swap a max for a ton of depth, so it would be good for the players to be worth maxes.

I agree. He is the biggest cheerleader/shitt talker on the bench every game. I don't see him leaving.

Jabari is on a poison pill year .... almost impossible to trade him.

12m outgoing salary, 25m incoming salary.

It would cost him his bird rights and that could be a substantial amount of $$$.

In the open market without bird rights, he's looking at MLE money at best, if he has his bird rights, he potentially gets another deal similar to what he earns now. The 27/28 MLE is ~$15m over a 3 year deal that's $30m left on the table.

I can't see him agreeing to that .... even if it's a remote chance that he gets such a contract.

I would say Sengun is practically untouchable, as in it's hard to envision any realistic trade that could happen. He's a top 15 player in the NBA at age 23 on a long contract well below max dollars. That's insanely valuable. The guys you'd deal him for are like, SGA, Wemby, maybe Ant Edwards or Luka. Common factor between all of those guys is that their franchises would almost certainly consider them untouchable as well.

Per Larry Coon's FAQ, FVV could exercise player option before trade to retain Bird rights as the contract is no longer potentially a 1-year deal.

Only Trae deal I would do would be for FVV, DFS, and Capela. Don’t give up any of the young core or valuable picks.
