Well if this is the real start of the trade deadline, then he should be an interesting week. Mavs got robbed, who's next?
My guess is that somehow Chicago takes on Beal's contract to get Jimmy to Phoenix. I saw a Ball/Lavine to Heat. Beal and 3-4 picks to Chicago and Butler to Phoenix somewhere. The picks are sh*t, but Chicago has a really stupid front office. Beal and Lavine both have 3 years left on their contract. Beal's contract is 7m more per year. Just don't know if Heat will take the extra year of Lavine's contract or just keep Butler and hope he bails next year.
Landale + Tate + 2025 PHX FRP (top 10 protected) (converts to 2 SRPs if not conveyed) + 2 SRPs to CHI for Coby White & Jalen Smith Risky to include PHX pick, but they will likely get Butler (and then trade Nurkic as well). Plus it is still top 10 protected for Rox.
sabonis is a horrific albotross contract and fox will be one soon, HELL NO unless the kings are adding a bunch of 1sts, probably would require a "full draft" package
Lakers is desperate for a center now, even back up ones. I'd at least shop Steven Adams, Jock Landale and Jeff Green, to see what Pelinka is willing to offer.
Well it's both right. Their assets aren't great, but the ones we're offering also aren't pieces they're foaming for. But they do need a center (any center). The probably won't offer that 1st round pick, maybe 2nd rounders.
