2027 swap + 2029 FRP + filler too much for Cam Johnson? Would either of the players chosen play for Udoka anyway? This roster is near to bursting already but Ime prefers to play tight 7 man rotation very heavy minutes.
I mean it works on paper since Cleveland seems to be hunting Hunter (and these two teams need help to make a deal) Atlanta Out --> Capela, Hunter Cleveland Out--> Strus, LaVert Houston Out -> Adams, Tate, Springer Atlanta In -> LaVert, Adams, Springer Cleveland In -> Hunter, Tate Houston In -> Strus, Capela There is more shooting and rebounding for Houston, another creator for Cleveland, and the Hawks will probably get at least a pick out of this.
Cavs get Hunter. I was under the impression that young teams who are a top seed shouldn't make trades.
you do know that 4/5 of the Cavs starting lineups are over 25 right? It’s not a young team. The Thunder are younger and we’re younger than the Thunder
25 is young and 2 of their 3 best players are 25 and under. Thats their core. Mobley is arguably better than anyone on our team. Garland this season has been better than anyone on our team.
LOL at Mobley being better than Amen and Sengun. Maybe Jalen but he is a guard. Jabari might surpass him someday as well.
Which young guy did they trade? Also, Cavs not really a young team. Isn't it just Mobley as the key young talent on rookie scale that they drafted?
I'm sure Stone feels same + Rockets fans will lament on how those picks are busts because of limited play time/production.
Jalen is not close to better than Mobley. Maybe some day, but Jalen would need to be much more consistent.
Man, this has been an incredibly active trade deadline, and it's looking more and more like we're not going to do anything but pay for a SRP. Kind of a bummer. Guess we still have a bit of time left.
The guy said everybody on the roster. I would trade Jalen for him straight up although we would have to find a SG somewhere. Reed with all the hoopla over his one fairly good game is not anywhere near ready. It doesn't matter anyway. Mobley ain't going anywhere.
